Hello Maja Friends,

August – my favorite Summer month, though it is the last before the dull and rainy days come. However I like it more than any month.
So that is why I enjoy looking through the pictures taken this summer and to create something that is associated with this particular month.

I combined several Summer collections for my Layout – Summertime, Summer Crush and Life in the Country.

I tried to keep the red and greens on my layout, using the paper layers, and added some embellishments of yellow and orange.

I also stretched the colors from the photo – soft blue and pumpkin and played with the acrylic paints .

I added some fussy cutting, though I mixed the greens and reds from almost the same patterned papers.

So it’s time to enjoy each and every day this Summer, hope you will follow my advice.

Hello everyone!

Today a new inspiration for Maja Design. Two pages for a new minialbum with my favourite theme Summer by the Sea. We have a very hot and especially dry summer here and every thought of a cool fresh sea breeze is more than welcome.

”You can shake the sand from your shoes,

but it will never leave your soul”

I used a beautiful neutral sheet ‘Wind in my hair’ from the ‘Summertime’ collection as underground paper. The tags from this collection

were a wonderful addition and very practical to attach my flip flop images.

some details

I have added some cut out elements from the ‘Life by the sea’ paper collection

and some wooden shape mini elements from Calico Craft Parts

an amazing little parasol and a die cut flower as sun
a background stamp with an old Kogge
Thanks for your visit!
I wish you a wonderful summertime!

Hello friends,

It’s time for a new inspiration summer layout.

I love to use structure paper and try out new ideas.

I had some leftovers from a white wallpaper and thought, a beautiful texture,

can wallpaper be inked in?, which color is suitable?

I used a piece of wallpaper in the centre of my maritim layout,

a perfect addition for me to the beautiful papers from Maja Design.

some details

I tried with Glimmer Mist from Tatterd Angels and I must say, it’s a wonderful amazing effect, because it doesn’t spread evenly

and the end result will be very natural.

a wordlet chipboard from Scrap FX painted with acrylic paints from DecoArt

I used also some cutting dies from Joy craft (waves, kelp) and added some

handmade embellishmets made with molds and modelling clay.

I wish you all a wonderful summertime!

Hello Maja Friends,

Summer is always full of wedding ceremonies, so each year I am busy with creating wedding cards for my friends

Normally I make more than just a couple of cards. So this time I made 2 different cards

I decided to mix the collections again, I love how they work together, no matter which collection you use.

I used mostly Vintage Spring Basics collection, focused on the blue and beige tones and added lace embellishments

Also I made some fussy cutting, and even cut out the roses form the Summertime collection

So you can see the collections are totally a perfect match.

Prima Marketing Flowers, Spellbinders Dies

Welcome Maja friends!

Today I want to share with you another possibilitie, what you can do with the beautiful papers from Maja Design.

It’s a one sheet minialbum, that means for the basic you only need one background paper in 12 x 12″.

I chose from the Vintage Summer basics collection ”1936”, both colours are very suitable to my theme

blue, for the sea and brown, for a memoryin vintage style.

As addition some sheets from the Summertime collection.

I used some photo’s from our sheltie, a beautiful memory on last summer and really he is an aquaholic, even like me 🙂

on the right side you can see a ATC frame and some mini wooden shapes from Calico Craft Parts, a beautiful addition

where I used white crackle paint from DecoArt for an altered effect

other products:

cutting dies – Memory Box, Kaisercraft

Distress ink Vintage photo – Ranger

maritim clear stamps from different companies

Thanks for your visit!

Have a beautiful summertime my friends!
