Hello dear friends, its Evgenia Petzer with you today. Being a mom to three boys, I can’t get enough of a baby theme! One of my all time favourites! And the Vintage Baby collection- I am cutting and cutting it again.

I will start with the baby boy card. I decided to add some turquoise color as a little contrast…

Some die  its, the heart border is cut from the felt, so it gives that little extra soft touch to the project.

and another card for the baby girl:

Love those air balloons, I have fussy cut it from the paper from the same collection.

Lots of beads, pearls, some die cuts and gorgeous chipboard

Both of these cards use the Vintage Baby paper pad collection:

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I will show you the mini album that I made for a girl. Its based on the tags (dies) that I cut from the very strong cardboard and then decorated.

Here is the cover ( I have used lots of lace, pearls, chipboard in my album).

Some time ago I have shown the baby box here on the blog and to fits this album perfectly.maja_mini_girl_in_a_box maja_mini_girl_total_look

Lets have a look on it inside- page by page?

In some frames where the photos will be placed, for now I put the photo of my little one- just to show how it will look altogether (I have only boys, so this baby album will be for some other little princess).

For the tags themselves I used the die cut by Tim Holtz (sizzix) and lots of leftovers from my favourite Maja Papers (different collections), all the decoration is mainly from the Vintage Baby paper pad papers and I also used these 2 sheets for the fussy cutting.

Have a lovely sunny day,

Hello Maja Friends,

so many newborns are coming these days. So I decided to make baby books for their mothers, so that they could keep the records on how their babies grow. Unfortunately theu grow so rapidly and fast that you think you will remember this special newborn’s smell or their tender fingers for years, however the time passes and oopps, you can not remember how it was.

What can be better for a crafter when you are asked to create such kind of projects. I still adore sewing teh covers, so I combine papers and fabric in one.

It’s not easy to make something for the boy tender and sweet , and with no flowers and lace at teh same time, however I am searching for the new ways

Some die cut negatives and hot air ballons – and yes, it still looks boyish

Thus I tried this way for the baby girl book too and it seems it still looks cute

Hello Sweeties,

As promise here is the inside of the By the Sea album.

In fact I mixed the blue and beige papers from two collections : Summertime and Vintage Baby.

I added several pieces of paper to each page making sure that there was always a reminder on the main paper to the other page. It helps to add some harmony to the project.

To add some interest to each page I added some bits of doily, a few flowers, some glass beads as well as micro beads.

Hello everyone. I have noticed I started making more baby projects. It seems that my kids grow so fast that I want to stop the time and catch those moments of tiny toes , soft fingertips and so on.

However I have never sewn so many as I do at the moments. I guess some changes are coming.

Today I’ve come to share 2 Photo Frames I made using Vintage  Baby Collection. But they are not ordinary.

Soft Frames, by Elena Olinevich, Baby1

They are like accordion and you can put up to 4 pictures inside.

I made the soft fabric cover for them

and addedsome simple embellishments inside

flat and simple, so that it can be easily closed and opened

I also made the same feame for the beby girl, using the same sketch

and thin chipboard pieces

I didn’t want to add flowers as the emebllishments, I wanted to keep its simplicity

I think it’s a good idea to combine sewing and papercrafting, it makes the projects to be unordinary.

The size of the pages is approximately  6*4,5 inches  ( 15*12 cm), so you can easily use 6*6 paper pad for this kind of frames.
