Welcome creative friends!

I don’t know I you have seen my latest layout ‘My fave Jeans’

with the newest Maja Design collection ‘Denim & Girls’.

I used some parts from my sorted out jeans.

But it’s not necessary to cut up your favorite jeans ;-)!!

As Marie says:” If you want that denim-feel but don’t want to cut your jeans apart

you can always use the denim-looking sheets of the Denim & Friends collection,

they do match the Denim & Girls line perfectly.”

But my favorite jeans also had wonderful pockets :-)! and they had to be used in a handicrafts project. I like to wear jeans and love the combination with delicate white lace blouses or cool T-shirts. With a pair of jeans you are always dressed right., a real inspiration source.

I think and feel in jeans blue :-)!

Hello Maja fans!

Today, I would like to share a new layout with a video tutorial made for my May inspiration. As always I found my photo on Pinterest and this one inspired me to create a soft romantic page in white and blue tones. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

To create my page I used papers from the new gorgeous ”Denim & Girls” collection along with some Dusty Attic chipboards and 49 and Market flowers.
You can watch all the procedure here…

The paper I used is the ”Tough but sweet” and made some layers behide my photo with the ”You’re beautiful” and ”Loose fit” papers. To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso and then, I created texture with an icing paste and a stencil. When the paste dried, I randomly stamped and used a Lindy’s Gang spray to add color.

Next, I painted all the Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair acrylic paints.

Then, I layered all the gorgeous elements around my photo and added in some 49 and Market flowers from the ”Blossom Blends, Garden Seeds & Cottage Blooms” sets.

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Until next time happy crafting!

Welcome creative friends!

The time is right for a new springtime inspiration. I loved magnolias since my childhood.

It’s always a wonderful time when they bloom and you worry every year that the night frosts do not destroy this flowering splendour.

I used some papers from the beautiful Vintage Spring Basic Collection, I’m always in love with the delicate colours and motifs.

As background 3rd of April, some stripes from 3rd and 7th of May and I’m a fan of this amazing little butterflies in this collection and love it to add this cut outs as 3D elements on my springtime projects.

I love it to work with chipboards because they always bring more life and structure in your projects.

Here I used a small fence and some awesome flower buds and flourishes from Dusty Attic.

With a little bit acrylic paint they look like magnolia buds.

Take some nice photos of your garden or bring some memories photos from

a beautiful spring walk with your family!

Create a scrapbook page as memento for your family album or as a gift,

 soon is Mother’s Day.

Happy crafting!

Enjoy the springtime!

Hello Maja fans!

Today, I would like to share a new layout with a video tutorial made for my April inspiration. To create my page I used Maja Design papers from the gorgeous I Wish” collection along with several gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboards and beautiful 49 and Market flowers.

As always I found my photo on Pinterest and this one inspired me to create a steampunk page with a romantic and mysterious feeling. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

You can watch all the procedure here…

For my project, I chose the ”I Wish – those memories will last” paper from the ”I Wish” collection. To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso and then, I created texture with a Finnabair icing paste and a stencil. Then, I randomly stamped and used Lindy’s Gang sprays to add color.

Next, I used different mixed media techniques to treat the Dusty Attic chipboards which you can watch on the video tutorial.

Then, I layered all the gorgeous elements around my photo and added in some 49 and Market flowers from the ”Botanical Blends & Potpourri – Marina” sets.

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Hello dear creative friends!

I was inspired to create a mixed media layout in vintage, suitable to the upcoming Easter days.

I used some beautiful papers from the ‘Vintage Spring Basics’ Collection.

7th of April as basic paper and added with some cut out’s and stripes from

6th of May, 10th of March, 11th of March and 2nd of April.

I always love it to use some chipboards from Dusty Attic

and some natural materials such like feathers, sisal and willow catkins.
