The autumn has really made an entrance here on the west coast in Sweden. Frosty cold mornings with days full of sunbeams to make the golden leaves glow. Our Mood Board has never felt more appropriate. Vintage-Autumn-BasicsThe large grandfather’s clock in the library has just chimed six o’clock. The deep sound has started to fade away while the Autumn darkness spreads its wings. Some heritage photos lie on the heavy library table together with grandmother’s old books and grandfather’s music papers. Memories of a time gone by.

The window ledge is covered by frost. The first snowflakes of the season find their way to the ground as the children play outside. They raise their heads towards the sky and welcome them with joy. The summer has passed us for this time.

The quiet, peaceful Autumn is a time to reflect and capture your memories. Sit by the window and see how nature is slowly going to sleep, all while you are scrapping your best memories from the past.

Vintage Autumn Basics is the third ‘Basics Collection’ in the series. The colours reflect this twilight time of year, but are still mixable with the other Basics collections.  These papers have been designed to enhance your family’s treasured memories and strong heritage, but with a reminder to live in the present.

We will start shipping during the second week of September, so make sure not to miss them when they reach a store near you. Please check our store finder to find a retailer in your area.

But… No previews without a giveaway. We will draw three happy winners that will win the new collection in 6×6 or 12×12. All you have to do is…

I’ve got some really exciting news to share with you today. We started up our Facebook site and Twitter account August 1st. We made it with a little bang, a sneak of the upcoming Vintage Autumn Basics. It’s not published elsewhere, so make sure you stop by and have a look. Don’t forget to tell us what you think about it.

I’ve asked our own Jennifer Snyder to start working with us as our Facebook Coordinator and I’m happy to say that she’s accepted. Jennifer-SnyderI would like to give her our warmest welcome. I’m sure she’ll take good care of you on Facebook, so make sure to stop by for a coffee and chat with her in our virtual sofa. This also means that she will leave her position on the Creative Team, even if she’ll create some Mood Board inspiration from time to time. Her replacement is no stranger and her creative soul has really made us all glow. Please welcome Nancy Hanttula as our new regular Creative Team member…Nancy-HanttulaNancy will take over Jennifer’s postings every second Friday to give you a creative start on your weekend.

So… What about that giveaway… We want to collect as many LIKES as possible by August 31st. When we hit 1000 posts, we will pick a winner at random and send out the Sofiero collection OR a collection of your own choice. We are overwhelmed by the enormous positive response we have had on our new collection. It really warms our hearts and we are most grateful. So we have decided to give away TEN sets of Sofiero instead of three. So grab your chance while you still can.

Introducing our very first limited collection… Here’s a taste of the upcoming Sofiero collection.Sofiero

Smell the roses while you walk through The Rose Paths of Sofiero. You can see the fairytale castle glimps in the background while you stroll around the castle’s world famous gardens. Walk through Princess Margareta’s Flowerstreet and be amazed by her sense of colours and gardening. Head on to The Dahlia District before crossing the garden down to the gates by the sea. Listen to the waves and enjoy the sun. A wedding couple passes by giggling. The summer is here to stay.

Our new collection is a summer celebration to the historical gardens of Sofiero that is cared for and developed in honour of its legacy.

This exclusive collection consists of eight two sided 12×12 sheets and will only be in stock for a limited period of time. They will not reprint so make sure to get your set before they are gone.
