Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Probably most of you have already celebrated Mother’s Day, but in Poland it’s on the 26th of May, so I’m still waiting 😉 And being in the celebration mood I created a shadowbox frame that would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift:

The base for my shadowbox is a half of the box of certain purple pralines 😉 I first attached chain and a tassel with brads before I covered the whole frame with Denim&Girls papers:

I layered the papers in the background and hand cut some decorative tags:

Other embellishments include a large rose, some acrylic gems, metal and chipboard pieces. I also stamped, coloured, cut out and arranged a layered magnolia flowers clusters:

I’m really happy how this frame turned out, and how Maja papers provided a perfect background for this beautiful photo. I didn’t use a ton of embellishments, but arranging them in dimensional layers resulted in a rich and bold design.

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: chipboard and stamps: Agateria; metal pieces: Retro Craft Shop; gems, sequins: my stash.

I hope all the moms in the world have had a wonderful Mother’s Day!

See you soon!

You Rock

Hello Sweet Maja fans,

Lenet here and today I bring you these two cards , made with  the gorgeous and sweet  Denim and Girls 15X15 Paperpad.

I love this paperpad, It’s sweet , cool and tough ad the same time. You can make cards, layout’s mini”s  in a girly, sweet style but also in a cool, though style for not so girly girls.

As you probably can see I made these cards using the same sketch . the have just are a  little  differend.

The You Rock sentiment  is a piece from the paperstrip at the bottom of the Girls in Jeans 12×12 patterned paper sheet.

I used some seembinding for the bows, the floweers are from Prima marketing Florella Hobby Fun.. The glittered hearts are from Mellissa Frances.

The rozettes are made using the Tim Holtz Paper Rosette die.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you like my cards., make shure to come back to see what the other Maja Girls made for you..

Stay safe!

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I hope you’re having great summer so far, even though travelling has been limited and we all still need to follow the lockdown rules. But the right attitude is the key to keep us all going strong through difficult times. So hang in there, and come have a look at the project I have to share.

Today I bring you a delicate baby girl page with a photo of my little niece. She’s so tiny in the picture, so I thought I’d use a limited amount of embellishments, making the page almost clean&simple in order not to overwhelm the photo and accent that delicacy.

I used the Denim & Friends with just a touch of the Denim & Girls collection for my layout. I kept the colour palette of the photo throughout the page. I first added some doily motives with a stencil and modeling paste and then placed the photo in the centre and surrounded it with flowers, hand cut tags and cardstock butterflies. The title is also a cardstock sticker. I completed my design with sequins scattered here and there for lightness and subtle shine:

I just love the versatility of Maja Design papers that allows you to make a sweet baby layout using a msculine collection! What do you think of how the page turned out?

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stencil: Agateria; flowers, stickers: Prima Marketing; sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, drop by soon for more inspiration! See you later!

Hello Sweet Maja Fans.

Lenet here and today I made you this celebration card.

It’s one that can be used for many occasions , always handy to have some of these in stock.

I made this one using the  6″x 6″ paperpack of Denim and girls.

Here I have a close up  from the centerpiece for you.

The flowers all come from my own stock .

The ticket stamp is an old one , I believe from Autumn Leaves.

I hope you all like my card, don’t forget to come back for more inspiration by the other Maja Girls.

And for now stay safe.
