Hi there! How are you? I really hope you are having a lovely holiday. I know this time of year can be sad for many, often because the ones they have dear are not here anymore. I really miss my mother who passed away three years ago, especially at this time of year. She loved everything about Christmas, and mostly because she could bring the family together. I think that is an important thing I have learned from her, and that I can be better at. Just to spend time with family and loved ones. But I am not that good cook that she was 🙂

Some nights ago I went to my friend Audhild, and we sat down colouring together with two other friends. It was so nice. And even if I sat there for hours, this image was the only one I had time to colour. I really love the blue and brown colours in the “Home for the holidays” collection. And felt it was perfect for little Tilda here (Tilda with sock puffs).

I made some poststamps with the sheet called “Love the snow” and a die from Magnolia (Vintage Box, 3rd edition). The little snowmen are really cute.

The snowflake and the stars are from a banner from Wycinanka. If you look closely on the card you can see that I have tore the paper and put a lace and some more papers inside. But as always I decorate too much, so that it is difficult to spot what I had planned to show you 🙂

Here in the west part of Norway we haven’t had snow yet. I am longing for some snow now, not only rain. We have had the extreme weather Urd howling around our house. But luckely it was not strong enough to make any damage around here.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today. Wish you a lovely day. And since I will be in the Maja Design Creative Team for another year (Yay, soooo proud! A big thanks to Camilla and Marie for having me!), I will be making a new post in two weeks.

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today, I have prepared the wall hanging collage using the lovely Home for the Holidays collection.

Lets have a look? The size is A4, lots of layers, chipboard, lace…lots of close ups:

I have added many kraft accents this time for my collage.pearls… lots of glitter- gold and white

for the glitter effects I have used these mediums:

I love how this adhesive spray works – you just spray on the place that you need and sprinkle over with the glitter or other stuff that you need.

My favourite christmas collection by Maja Design is definitely Home for the Holidays, so I am still playing with it:

Hello dear friends, its Evgenia Petzer with you today. I have prepared another christmas card for you today it uses the Home for the Holidays collection. I went with more muted, natural tones of this card.

Lots of different die cuts here, some chipboard and gold glittered stars.

I also have used the gold thread to stitch the card, I love how gold looks on the christmas crafts.

Hello dear friends, its Evgenia Petzer with you today. While I am waiting when my hands will play with the newest collection released (I wish), I pulled the previous year one and made three cards out of the Home for the Holidays paper pad.

Christmas cards and all the baby theme are my favourite items to create. So I had a real blast while playing with these cards.

They all are layered, very detailed – all as I like.

love those knitted socks, they add so much home feeling and charm for the creation.

Hi everyone, today I have a layout to share with you. For this layout I used the Home For The Holidays collection. Even though this is a Christmas collection the papers are very versatile and can be used on any layout. I love the brown tones in this collection.

My background paper is Together, I started by priming the paper with clear gesso before I added light modeling paste through three different stencils. Most of this was covered up but just enough peaks out from underneath.

I added colour with mists in brown, peach and deep red, then a put on some random stamping to add another layer of depth to my layout.

I made a photo mat for my photo with layers of paper in Traditions and Christmas Chorus. I lightly distressed the edges and layered in a couple of doilies.
