Welcome friends!

I hope you all had a good start in the new year 2019!

I wish you health, happiness and joy and have a lot of fun with creating new ideas and projects.

I’m looking forward to inspire you for another year with all the amazing ‘old’ and new paper collections from Maja Design.

I was inspired to make a layout in a wintery mood and used a background paper  from the ‘I wish’ collection.

The delicate brown shades were absolutely right for an mixed media layout in nature style

which shows a litte girl in a winter forrest that has a lot of fun in the snow.

Welcome friends!

Today I will share with you a mixed media layout in form of a big gift combined

with the best wishes for a peaceful, harmonious and cozy Christmas

in the circle of your loved ones.

I had this idea when I saw the paper with the elegant lady

sitting comfortably on a mountain with presents.

used Maja Design papers

I also used some christmas themed cutting dies (candles, pine branches, christmas stockings, lace)

and an awesome christmas tree chipboard from Dusty Attic.

Hello Maja friends!

It got cold, the first snow starts falling, icicles on the roofs and will make our world a little bit quieter and slower.
Winter time is sledding time too.
I loved that as I was a child, today I’m a ‘Frostbeule’ 😉
and what could be better than sitting in a small warm dreamy winter cottage
and watching the snow fall softly to the ground.

The children are romping in the snow and inside a fireplace crackles, wonderful!

a winter tree chipboard  from Dusty Attic, snowflakes made with stencil and cutting dies

two snowy lanterns made with silicone moulds

a icicles fabric ribbon and some suitable chipboard winter leaves

Have a peaceful and relaxe advent season!

Winter greetings from Kerstin!

Welcome friends!

I’m very happy to share with you a new layout with our latest collection ‘Christmas Season’.

This collection, is a wonderful Holiday/Winter combo with red and blue season colours. You will have a holiday collection

that you can continue to use well past Christmas.

My absolutely favourite in this very beautiful collection is the sheet ‘Mail the post cards’, I love the very delicate background scenery

and the lovely woman at the mailbox in a mixture of soft winter colours.

I have set myself the task to cover up as little as possible of the amazing motifs.

some details

I used some cutting dies and added some wonderful chipboards from Dusty Attic to add dimension.

a real postcard motif with a little snow flurry made with Snow Tex (DecoArt)

As I saw the paper sheet ‘Greeting Cards’ I thought, yes, that’s the perfect addition for this theme.

So  I cut out some individual postcards, using the paper distresser tool and inked around the edges with  dark brown.

This project was so much fun to create and I love the scene that you can build up, using some paper sheets from the new collection.

Thanks so much for your visit!

I hope this layout will set you up for a beautiful and relaxed Advent season!

Hello Maja friends!

Today a season inspired layout, winter time is knocking at the door,
best time for crafting, if it’s warm and cosy.
I created a nature inspired mixed media layout,
where I used a mix of torned monochrome and winter papers.

I used some paper sheets from the wonderful ‘Joyous Winterdays’
