Goodmorning lovely Maja Fans,

Today I am showing you a baby layout using a picture of a beautiful baby girl en the always pretty “Vintage Summer Basics” & “I Wish” collection on the background. Also we are promoting “PETALOO” flowers this month from the 12th – 24th and on this layout you will see a bunch of them. The Petaloo promotion ended yesterday but I was in bed with a nasty respiratory tract infection and got some medication for it so hopefully they will kick in soon. I could not help myself on using their flowers again on my layout so I combined Auntique Rose {item #1837-059} with the Antique Mauve {item #1836-070} and some of the left overs from the teal color.

This layout was also based on this months challenge at the Cuts2luv where I am a guest designer this month & next month. I started my layout by inking the edges of my background sheet with some Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays then I stamped a script and dot clear stamp randomly on my sheet after that I splattered three different sprays on it. I added a stencil on the background too…I cut out four doilies by Cheery Lynn in two sizes and added them in the lower right part of my layout and behind my picture.

Then I treated my chipboard with different mediums and placed them on my layout where I thought it looked nice then I build my page with the flowers and flairs. I finished my layout by adding some sequins, prills, mica flakes, pearlescents and some word strips.

This picture was taken back in 2010 and I never used it on a layout before…all the chipboard pieces are by The Dusty Attic and where treated with white gesso and Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays but also I used some different sizes art stones and some stamps and stencils. The stamp I used is a new one from 49 and Market designed by own very own Pascale….awesome job girl love it!

Hi Everyone,

Its Keren Here with a new layout.

I’ve always loved the brick pattern from the Vintage Summer Basics and so I knew I had to incorporate it into a layout during my DT term.

Below is a photo of my husband and daughter and i thought it was so cute.

I framed the photo by die cutting with a frame out of the background paper. The brick paper hid the area where I had cut from.

I'm Keren Tamir a self taught scrapbooker, mixed media artist and designer. Since I was a child, I always loved art. I used to doodle on my notebooks and on anything I could get my hands on. Fourteen years ago I discovered scrapbooking and fell in love with it. One of the main reasons I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children. Scrapbooking opened a creative door to something that I had longtime forgotten I'd loved. It gave me peace of heart and mind. visit my blog for more inspiration: https://kerentamir.blogspot.ca

Welcome back and hello!
I hope this post finds you happy and well. Today I have for you a layout inspired by a gorgeous photo of my eldest daughter. This I have titled

“Dream”…….

I have used a combination of Maja Designs gorgeously stunning Vintage Summer and Vintage Spring Basics collection to create my layered background of torn and distressed papers.
I can’t tell you how often I have wanted to use this piece of chipboard……but finally it happened for the perfect project. I think it just fit wonderfully here. You can see these pieces above cut into 2’s and tucked amoungst my gorgeous Maja paper layers. Yay I was so happy when this worked!
I love this Title chipboard. They are totally gorgeous. This one was dressed in some Sugar Plum acrylic paint and then I toned it down a little to compliment my page with some white gesso and of course some Dress My Craft sparkling dust……..
I have also used a Swirly Frame chipboard. It was cut into two and used to frame these beautiful photo’s of my daughter Ashlea. We held a Mad Hatters Tea Party a little while back and she dressed as the Queen and looked just stunning. These photos of course were changed to a Sepia tone to help fit my layout and the moodboard.
Here you can see my Fleur de Lis coloured with inks and paints. Atop of it I sat the small Decorative #1 frame and then on top of that a Mini Clock Face. The mini clockfaces are the perfect fit for this frame!!
Okay and I love me a little or quite a lot however you look at it, of the Dress My Craft
Princess Mix Sequins. I also gave my layout a good sprinkling of  Dress My Craft’s Sparkling Dust just to make it shine that little bit more.
I also added in some florals but I kept it quite minimal for me that is. Above you can see the 49andMarket Floral Mixology flowers that I used. These are the Pina Colada coloured florals that I changed up by wiping over with a little Dusty Sugar Plum acrylic paint.
I have also tucked in a little lace and muslin to keep the layout as soft as possible.
And lastly these gorgeous Heart Arrows. I have dressed both the large and the small chippies in some Star Dust Stickles to really make them pop. I then added them into my clusters of flowers.
Well that is all from me today. I hope you have a beautiful week and find some time for yourself !
Big hugs …..

Hello Sweeties

Today I’m u Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the Vintage Summer Basics collection. I chose a photo taken during my trip to Prague of the Memorial to the Victims of Communism. The memorial is the work of Czech sculptor Olbram Zoubek. It’s a truly magnificent memorial. A sad one, though.

Memorial by Pascale B.

First, I primed the background with clear gesso. I mixed together some copper crackle paste with the brown Rust effect paste. I used the mix with a stencil to add a design and I let dry. I didn’t expect the crackle to appear as I mixed the crackle
