Hello Maja Fans, last month of summer is officially here, one of my favorite month of the year.
This summer I made a lot of wedding projects and today I want to share an Anniversary Wedding Album I ‘ve made recently
Wedding_Album_Vintage_Romance

I made quite an easy and simple mini album , it’s size is A4 and as usual  I made the fabric cover for it with stitching

When you want to keep your mini simple all you need to do is to grab beautiful papers, a few flowers and several elegant dies

I followed all the instructions I ‘ve mentioned above and played only with a simple color palette – pale blue, gold, beige brown and some mauve shades.

It was quite easy to do, as the paper patterns are really amazing from the Vintage Romance collection

I wanted my mini to be classic and elegant.

So I didn’t want to overwhelm it with many of the embellishments or even paper layers

Modest and shabby

Some fussy cutting was made to add the embellishments instead of using the flowers

Wedding Season – this is one more feature for the summer.

Normally it means more wedding cards I create during this period. And if someone asks me to make a card for a wedding, they want something that can be more than a congratulations card. So creating a envelope for a gift card or money is an option.

I guess that Sofiero collection along with Monochromes is perfect combo.

These soft shabby colors can bring a delicate feeling

I am keeping doing several cards at once, using the same elements and just mixing the colors

What I tried new  – is taking the flowers from different packs, no matter how they suit, but leading them in a cheerful composition. Didn’t want to keep the white boring dominance.

It was really easy to do, as the candy pallet of Sofiero collection brings the choice for a variety.

And I have to admit that fabric tulle and organza flowers work really great there.

as well as the classic frame dies

Some finishing touches of pearls and rhinestones, and you are finished with a trio of nice cards.

Smell the roses while you walk through The Rose Paths of Sofiero… I love to read description of the papers… Sofiero is my favourite lately. It’s a time of the year when we are creating wedding cards and for sure I will use Sofiero collection combine with Monochrome more often.

Sofiero - Wedding Cards

I moved to Norway for a while and didn’t take many scrapbooking stuff. I had to choose the most useful tools, chipboards, dies, media and add-ons.  It was not easy desicion but I think I did a good job. I will check it out during my creating project this summer. Today’s card are full of small layers. I love to pluck the paper and then add  the layers one by one. Between each  I try to add small details :)

Sofiero - Wedding CardsIt’s good to know what kind of style we like and what we expect in the final result. My plan was to have cards in a shabby chic style. I think I did it – just added a  little bit of my style too.

Sofiero-Wedding CardsSofiero-Wedding CardsChipboards from Scrapiniec fits here perfectly! They are super white and really high quality.  Small roses  and the pictures in the background are cut from the die cut sheet.

Sofiero-Wedding CardsYou don’t need to have many thing to create. Paper is the most important and the rest is just you creativity.  Hope you like my project. Hugs, Paulina

Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to present funny cards created for Wedding. I like to make original, unusual cards for this occasion lately. I love to combine different elements, use many layers of paper.

Faux Envelope Cards Revisited ;)

Good morning, Maja fans, welcome to the blog today :)

While visiting some craft company blogs I sometimes come across this “revisiting” idea. DT members return to old collections and make new projects with them. And so I decided to use the concept, and “revisit” one of my older projects: faux envelope cards. I also did a tutorial on them back in June (you can find it here). I also used the same collection, my favourite Vintage Romance :)

I think this is just a perfect collection for wedding cards! The first card is more vintage in style, and I kept the ivory-green colour palette, as if the colours faded with time :)

mdspring1

I didn’t use any sentiment, the image is pretty clear :) I added a bouquet of roses and some pretty crystal flourishes:

mdspring2

Beautiful pearl brads and vintage seam ribbon complete the look:

mdspring3

The second card is more colourful as I followed the palette of the printed flowers:

mdspring4

The design is pretty much the same, only instead of an image I added a decorative chipboard sentiment:

mdspring5

I just love how the printed flowers blend with the dimensional ones!

And here are the supplies I used:

Other: flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; die: Magnolia; chipboard: Scrapiniec; brads: Craftmania; bling: Prima.

And how about you? Do you sometimes “revisit” your previous projects and give them a go again? :)
