Hello scrappy friends!

What can be better as a big cup of hot chocolate in this cold season?!

I was inspired to create a vintage layout to my favourite theme – Chocolate –

because ”She doesn’t ask silly questions, chocolate understands” 😉

Suitable to this theme I used the paper collection ‘Fika’, here can you find some wonderful shades of brown papers

in combination with the right motifs as cups, muffins, teapots and much more

I used the papers ‘Kärleksmums’, ‘Chokladmuffins’and ‘Kaffe tack! ‘

some close up’s

other used products:

Stencils: Stampers Anonymous, Chipboards: Dusty Attic

Stamps: 49and Market, Cutting dies,

laces, embellishments, Art Stones, straws, wooden letters

I hope I could inspire you to try some new themes.

What’s your favourite?

Thanks for your visit!

Hi everyone! Here I am with a baby card. It’s for the Christening of a baby girl named Tiril. I have used gorgeous pink papers from the collection Vintage Baby.

The cute image is from Stempelglede and the collection Vintage Baby.

The whole card is cut out with a heart die from Magnolia. I have craft card stock as a base, and Maja papers on top of it.

The ribbons are sprayed with water, curled up and let to dry. All the flowers, lace and ribbons are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The butterflies are stamps from Stempelglede which I have painted with Distress Inks.

I have added white gesso here and there, also on the ribbon.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja blog today!

With love,

Live inspired

Hello sweet Maja Fans,

Lenet here and today I bring you this Valentine card,

I used papers of the Christmas Season collection for this card  just to show you that the Christmas collections are not just for Christmas projects and Christmas season .

As you see  you can use them very well for other projects like a Valentine card.

As center piece I used a chipboard heart that I decorated with red polkadot  back side of  the Holly Jolly paper , distressed the edges and put a heart shaped lock on it.

I made a dangle with the key to the heart and attached it to the heart .

The flowers are from Prima Marketing and wild orchid crafts.

For the Card itself I used the back sides of : Deck the halls , Merry Night and Gift Shopping.

I’m so happy the Mood board challenges are back again! I always think the are a big inspiration , and it gave me the inspiration to make this card.

Did you take a look at this months  Moodboard? There is still time to get isnpired and join the challenge, first prize is a collection of your choice!

I think that is a very good reason to enter don’t you? So come on and give it a try! can’t wait to see what you create.!

Good morning, dear Maja friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I’m sure you’re well aware of the day we’re going to celebrate on Thursday. But whether you celebrate St. Valentine’s Day or you consider it purely commercial crap, love is something always worth celebrating! And appreciating someone whom you love and who loves you is always precious 🙂 Giving something you made yourself is the best way to show your feelings, whcih can’t go unnoticed. And here’s a pop-up box card I made for this occasion using the Christmas Season collection.

This orignal card form is flat when closed:

As this is the outer side, I decorated it subtly with alternating paper patterns and a small rose bouquet with a charm heart:

When open, the flat card becomes a box that stands on its own, and the upper flaps fold down to reveal the inside:

The secret lies in strips of paper attached inside the box body, which support a selection of elements: quite a few hearts, a die-cut “I love you” sign:

…and a cherub as well as mini postcards I cut out of one of the mini pad sheets and a post stamp image:

I extended the heart pattern with mini hearts on the front flap:

The side flaps feature rose images that correspond with the roses on the outside:

The message of the box is quite clear, but if you wanted to add something, there’s a tag in a pocket on the back, non-folding wall:

I really like the way it turned out, sweet and lovely 🙂

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Sizzix, Cottage Cutz, Impression Obsession; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; twine: Divine Twine; charm, ribbon: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting – and don’t forget to spread some love every day!
