Hi everyone! I hope you are fine. Here in Norway the Spring is close, the snow is gone and the birds have started to sing in the mornings. I think Spring is my favorite time of the year. The days get longer, and the flowers germinate. Its time for a new fresh start! Here in Norway the Spring is also time for Confirmations. And I have had that in mind with these cards. Can you guess which Maja Design Collection I have used for my cards??

Yes of course, the lovely Vintage Spring Basics.

Here you see little Tilda from Magnolia sitting on some steps. She is resting, and maybe looking for something to photograph. I have masked the two stamps together. The lovely text is from Stempelglede. For my colouring I have used Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers. I often stamp with Memento stamp pad, on the Langton Watercolour papers. My brushes are synthetic and I use size 0 and 000.

For the flowers I have used Foamiran. And some dies from Magnolia. I cut them out, blow on them with my heat gun, then curl them a bit, before I stretch the petals out again.

Inside the card I have made a paper strip to put some money behind. And a small card to write a greeting on.

Here is my second card. Made the same way as my first. And with the same flowers.

Here I have used the pink flower stamens. I have made a step by step of how I made the flowers:

Just another close up. The bow is made with Maja papers and a Magnolia die.

Here you can see that I have added Liquid pearls in Tilda’s hair, and around her.

Underneath the flowers I have put some Sisal grass. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here the inside of the card. With beautiful butterfly paper from the Vintage Spring Basics Collection.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design Blog today!

With love,

Congrats

Hello Lenet here , today I bring you this masculine card made with papers from the Denim and friends collection, and some car pictures from the vintage romance honeymoon sheet.

This card can be used for a birth day but also as a congratulations card for someone who just got his drivers license.

In fact I made this one with the intention to play along with challenge  that wanted a congratulations with your drivers license card, but you had to use the given sketch too.

I was so busy making this card I totally forgot about the sketch. Oh wel I just make another one .

Happy

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

It always amazed me how kids can be happy about pretty much anything. But there is not greater joy than that when their dreams come true. And which little boy doesn’t dream about a bike? I was lucky enough to have captured that joy – my younger son’s first ride on a “big” bike 🙂

Just look at his beaming face 🙂

I didn’t actually plan to use these papers, but they happen to perfectly match the colour palette of the photo, so…yep, it’s March and I’m still using the Christmas collection 😉 I layered pieces of papers upon a neutral cream background of papers from other collections, which I decorated with a brickwall pattern using a Prima stencil – I wanted to repeat the pavement pattern. I know, it’s not perfect, but it’s close enough. I also added some die-cut tags:

To enhance the photo’s theme, I added a chipboard bike:

…and to enhance the photo’s golden mood, I added some golden accents:

Of course, I couldn’t do without some flowers 🙂

I’m so glad I managed to take this photo! Now I can cherish this sweet memory so nicely completed with these beautiful Christmas Season papers 🙂

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers, stencil: Prima; chipboard: Tim Holtz, wycinanka; button: Lemoncraft; foam word: American Crafts; twine: Divine Twine.

And that’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!

Jennifer Snyder here with a calming card made with the gorgeous Denim & Friends collection.  This collection works perfectly for both masculine and feminine projects.

I opted to take a more masculine approach by crafting a nautical card and accenting the fabulous teal colors in the collection.
These are the papers used from the Maja Design, Denim & Friends collection:
Heartbreaker (B side)
Streetwear (B side)
Sunbleached

I thought the little bit of lace looked a bit like waves – while my gems looked like bubbles sparkling in the ocean from the sun.  It’s all about relaxation.

The dies used on this card are from an older Spellbinders nautical sailboat die  Die D-Lites Nautical Etched Die S2-226 and a current Spellbinders die by Becca Feeken.

Hello and welcome! How are you doing on this wonderful day? It’s Nancy here, and I have a new card to share featuring one of my all time favorite Maja Design paper collections, Vintage Summer Basics.

I adore the color pink, and especially the pinks found in this collection! Each sheet of design paper is distressed, layered, and stitched to form a sturdy base. The wildflowers are handmade from the paper collection, as are rose leaves, corner frame, vintage photo, fussy cut roses, and postcard embellishments.

A stamped sentiment adds a cheery point of interest in the upper right corner.

Loopy twine bows add a feminine finishing touch. As you can see, you can create a fully embellished card with no other supplies except for your chosen paper collection and a little twine! If you haven’t tried Maja Design’s papers yet, you should do so as soon as possible. Once you feel the quality of the double sided papers under your fingers and drink in the gorgeous colors, you’ll never want to settle for anything less than Maja Design papers.

Maja Design Papers Used:

Other Products Used: Tim Holtz Tattered Florals dies, Flower Shaping Tools, Magnolia Rose Leaf Die, Frame Die, Stamens, Sentiment Stamp, Ink, Sewing Machine, Thread.

Thank you so much for spending time with us today!  I send wishes for a week filled with sunshine, love, and joy!

Hugs,
