Hi everyone! Finally I finished this card. It has been laying on my craft desk for ages… But now I manage to finish is, I hate to have something half done. But anyways, I have had the pleasure to put my fingers on this gorgeous collection from MajaDesign. It is just amazing!

As usual I colour my images with Distress Inks, re-inkers and Markers. And I think the Maja papers fits the distress colours so well!

The dies and image are from Magnolia. And I have added some Fran-tage around the image. I also put some white gesso on the papers and flowers.

I hope you enjoyed my little post, even if it was a bit short today. And late… But it is soon weekend, and I look so forward to it!! Wish you all a very happy weekend to come! And thank you so much for visiting the MajaDesign blog today.

With love,

Winter Wishes

Hello Sweet Majafans.

First I want to  wish you a very Happy New year. I hope all your wishes will come true.

For my first post this year I bring you a wintercard.

I used a piece of the Sparkle sheet from the Joyous Winterdays  on the top and used Monochromes-shades of the Alps -Snow

for a double mat.

I used it to make the snowflake as well . this one is made with the Snowflake rosette die from Tim Holtz, the beautiful ornament behind it

is made with a die from Marianne design Creatables .

The flower and ribbon are from my own stash . The Winter Wishes sentiment is a stamp from Waltzing Mouse.

Here A close up , as you can see I used a lot of glitterglue to get a sparkly snow effect. this is done using Nuvo Glitter Accents.

The little bling heart and  the flowercenter are also from Nuvo.

Thank you for visiting hope you like what I made for you .

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

New year, new beginnings, they say 🙂 So for my first post in the new year I bring you a first project I made using the brand new collection, Little Street Cafe. I fell in love with this collection the very moment I opened my DT box – what a treat! One of the more vibrant colour palettes in the Maja stock, with juicy yellows and oranges paired with deep burgundy and sand beige, and all while keeping the classic vintage Maja style with its charasteristic plaids, stripes and flower designs. And don’t forget the ephemera sheet! Soo beautiful! I already have some ideas for this collection, but today I bring you a card for grandparents, as is Poland we’re going to celebrate Grandma’s Day on January 21st and Grandpa’s Day the next day.

I must admit I had difficulties choosing the papers for my first project, as all are equally tempting 😉 but eventually I decided upon on of the plaids and flower patterns for the backgound. For the top layer I cut out a panel with a street view – so perfect for the stamped image I chose for my focal element:

I added stamped sentiments and an acrylic heart that also matches the papers’ colours:

The flower pattern on the background paper gave me the idea for the mini roses cluster I added in the lower corners:

The card turned out slightly too dimensional to go into an envelope, so I added a card box too:

I really love how this card turned out, with its vibrant colours and beautiful paper patterns!

Here’s my supply list:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stamps: Penny Black, Lemonade; dies: CreaLies; chipboard: Scrapiniec; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; markers: Kuretake.

Do you celebrate Grandparent’s Day/s in your countries?

See you soon!

Sending Valentine’s Love

Hello Maja Design friends.  Jennifer Snyder here to share a Valentine’s card created using the gorgeous new collection, Little Street Cafe.
This collection is fresh, cheery and full of springtime color.
Here are the papers used from the collection;
Coffee al Fresco
Tea Please ( A and B side)
Something Sweet
This card is on the clean and simple side with the die cut “love” sentiment capturing all the attention.  I gave the die cut word some added interest by using the different patterns form the paper collection.  Hard to choose which patterns I wanted to use because they are all so lovely.

Maja Design also has a monochrome collection that coordinates perfectly with the colors of the Little Street Cafe collection, for those people like myself, who must have everything matching.

Thank you for stopping here today.

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year to you all! I hope you have had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Here in Norway we have been focusing about mental health and that we should all care about the people around us. Say hi to someone you don’t usually speak to, go visit someone you haven’t been to lately, and just take the time to see other people. Our king had a great speak to all Norwegians on New Years eve, amongst other things that life is fragile and that trust is important. But to my card. Here I have used lovely papers from what I think must be my favourite collection, the Summertime collection.

Here is Tilda on a rainy day. I have used Distress Ink for my colouring. And I have used Magnolia dies to cut out all the parts with gorgeous papers from the Summertime collection. At the end of the post I have also added some creations with the new papers from the Little Street Cafe.

I have added some spots around the image with Frantage and Liquid pearls. And I have also painted with white Gesso on the papers and flowers.

Here is also some cheese cloth behind the image.

Remember to take care of each other.

Here are some creations with the Little Street Cafe papers. I hope you like them!

A decorated paper bag.

A small pop up card.

A folder card.

A book card.

I am so grateful to be on these team, and to be able to play with all the most beautiful papers in the world! I wish you all a good weekend when it comes. Take care!

With love,
