I’ve got some really exciting news to share with you today. We started up our Facebook site and Twitter account August 1st. We made it with a little bang, a sneak of the upcoming Vintage Autumn Basics. It’s not published elsewhere, so make sure you stop by and have a look. Don’t forget to tell us what you think about it.
I’ve asked our own Jennifer Snyder to start working with us as our Facebook Coordinator and I’m happy to say that she’s accepted. 
I would like to give her our warmest welcome. I’m sure she’ll take good care of you on Facebook, so make sure to stop by for a coffee and chat with her in our virtual sofa. This also means that she will leave her position on the Creative Team, even if she’ll create some Mood Board inspiration from time to time. Her replacement is no stranger and her creative soul has really made us all glow. Please welcome Nancy Hanttula as our new regular Creative Team member…
Nancy will take over Jennifer’s postings every second Friday to give you a creative start on your weekend.
So… What about that giveaway… We want to collect as many LIKES as possible by August 31st. I’d like you all to meet our newest member of the Maja family…
We are so happy to congratulate our own Camilla to her newborn son Maximilian. He is of course a born member of the Maja family and we are looking forward to seeing him grow up.
He was born July 23rd at 5:37 PM. He was 52 cm tall and his weight was 3320 grams.
The entire Bakke family says hi and passes on that they are all well, but very busy nowadays with the little one.
The summer is still here. August has reached us with it’s blossoming gardens. The flowers keep fighting about who’s the most beautiful and the flowerbeds are at their best. This months Mood Board is based on the Sofiero collection. A collection devoted to the fairytale castle and it’s beautiful gardens. The Mood Board has a clear garden theme and I hope you’ll like it…

We are using Mood Boards for our challenges. We truely believe in creativity and art at Maja Design. You are free to interpret the Mood Boards in any way you’d like. They are supposed to set you in an inspirational mood without too much controlling. We would like you to be inspired by the poems, words and photos. They are not given rules, they are just there as inspiration. A jury will pick a winner and will consider how the colours and theme were used. All Mood Boards are inspired by a specific Maja collection, but you are free to use any Maja papers you’d like as long as they follow the colour scheme.
We are presenting a new mood board the first Tuesday of every month. We will be presenting all participating creations that fulfill the requirements below August 27th. We will also draw a winner who will be winning a Maja Design collection of their own choice in 6×6 or 12×12.
After your creation is done, take a photo and send it to moodboard@majadesign.nu without any watermarks (size 600×600). Include your full name and address + phone number in the e-mail together with what collection you would like if you win. Don’t forget to write down if you would like 6×6 or 12×12. We need your creation August 25th at the latest.
We will only publish creations that fullfill the requirements!

I hope you all have had a great summer. I have just started working again after a couple of weeks of vacation. I was blown away when I saw all the wonderful creations for the Christmas In July and Mood Board challenge. So today it’s time to draw a winner of each. It has not been easy this time.
