RememberToLive

Hello everyone. The time runs so quickly, not recently we were waiting for the summer, and here we go – June has almost gone. It reminds me that I have to take more photos while my kids are playing outdoors.

And the most perfect papers that can express summer warm weather, the  green colors and some rainy days in June is Äntligen collection.

I used  Vitsippor sheet for my background, added some stamping and layering;

And the title I used from the scraps from Vintage Spring Basics collection

and the strips from Life in the Country scraps

Am I a savvy scrapper? Anyway it helps me to use every little bit of Maja papers.

Supplies: Maja Design – Äntligen collection ( Vitsippor, Bada i havet, Fika ute , Vårlökar).

2Crafty chipboard, Vilda Stamps, Petaloo flowers.

And I would like to share one more card I made inspired by these summer days.

I used Life In the Country Collection for it.

I prepared a video tutorial, so please enjoy it.

Good Day to everyone! Today I want to share with you a Card I made for my son who has just turned 12 months 2 days ago. It was quite challenging for me to create a Boyish card since I didn’t want it to be a Baby one. So I found the way to do it in my style, I just added his photo to my card.

MaiaDesignProhorBDayCard

I used Life In the Country Collection, as it is so versatile , and you can find there some papers that can be definitely called masculine, but at the same time they are so soft that are so perfect for Baby projects as well.

BottomCard

I made some cutting as well as tearing the paper. And as you know this month’s Mood Board is based on this collection, so I had some leftovers from the previous project for Mood Board Inspiration, that is why I added some of them there too.

LayersUpCard

I hope I have inspired you to use your paper scraps and small photos and incorporate them into Birthday or Any others Special Day cards

For my circle,I first cut out triangles, distressed the edges, then put a dab of glue in the center of the triangle & placed them on to the circle. Once the glue dried I lifted the edges with my finger,so that you could see the layers, I then punched in eyelets, & weaved in white embroidery thread. My next step was to make my open circle, that I distressed, then punched in eyelets, then weaved in cheesecloth & pearls. .Once I completed that I glued it down to the main circle, then glued the circle on to a doily, then onto my already distressed stitched LO……0384f026-e581-407f-b98c-b7bfbd7b8905_zps587eca43

I love to work with Maja papers, they distress & layer so nicely. I made the banner by starting with a piece of lace, attached cloths pins, then punched out tiny flowers with some of the scraps I was working with. I glued the flowers to the banner & added pearls. The tiny white roses are from I am Roses………a7bc5b9b-d397-4ffc-88f7-ff594d594043_zps40e9cf9a

I used picket fence crackle on the stem part of the flourish & on the flowers I used Shimmerz paints texturez (tidy widy),then added some bling………f063b20f-c5e6-40b4-a13f-629835b4fd2d_zpsfda81fc3

I used the bottom strip of the papers to pleat it and used it like embellishments…
