For my circle,I first cut out triangles, distressed the edges, then put a dab of glue in the center of the triangle & placed them on to the circle. Once the glue dried I lifted the edges with my finger,so that you could see the layers, I then punched in eyelets, & weaved in white embroidery thread. My next step was to make my open circle, that I distressed, then punched in eyelets, then weaved in cheesecloth & pearls. .Once I completed that I glued it down to the main circle, then glued the circle on to a doily, then onto my already distressed stitched LO……0384f026-e581-407f-b98c-b7bfbd7b8905_zps587eca43

I love to work with Maja papers, they distress & layer so nicely. I made the banner by starting with a piece of lace, attached cloths pins, then punched out tiny flowers with some of the scraps I was working with. I glued the flowers to the banner & added pearls. The tiny white roses are from I am Roses………a7bc5b9b-d397-4ffc-88f7-ff594d594043_zps40e9cf9a

I used picket fence crackle on the stem part of the flourish & on the flowers I used Shimmerz paints texturez (tidy widy),then added some bling………f063b20f-c5e6-40b4-a13f-629835b4fd2d_zpsfda81fc3

The photo is a close up of one of my first spring blooming plants,a bleeding heart. Yes I am feeling a bit manic right now,I still have a lot of work to do to get my garden going, but I hope I will have all my spring clean up & planting done,by the time I make my next post. Thank you so much for taking the time to look……RachelleRachelle-sign (2)

I just love these layouts. I am so impressed by the Classic Beauty layout that really shows an alternative way to use the Walking In The Forest collection. The Life In The Country collection lies very close to my heart and that Country Girl layout truely capture the best from it. Love the Spring layout too. So unique and special.

My goodness, Rachelle…all of your designs are more amazing than the last! I adore each and every one of these…especially the way that you layer paper like there’s no tomorrow…I’m amazed that you have any left! Don’t get me wrong…the effect is fantastic! I would love to make my cards look like your layouts in miniature! Beautiful work!
