Hello everyone, today I have a Layout to show you, which is inspired by a photo taken of my grand-children a few years ago on Christmas day 2009, one of my faves ..Sometimes I take a photo that deeply touches my heart…
and I love to scrap these pics with the fabulous memories they bring to me. A closie of my grandies.

A closie of my embellies and details …… once I attached the tags etc, I swiped randomly with white gesso and then stamped with black ink.

I adore these soft details of the background paper. adding delicate interest to each piece I create .Maja Design are the perfect papers in my opinion.

Below is a heavily embellished Christmas card I created on a foundation of Walking in the Forest collection and Vintage spring basics .

These Collections designed by Marie are just so versatile … I am always amazed how they blend together and are so beautiful to work with . I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey with Maja Design this year, such enchanting, wonderful paper collections and working with such friendly, inspiring delightful girls on the team . Thanks so much for having me . I am taking a short 6 months break but will be back next year in June …. rested and ready to go again.

Happy Monday! It’s Marilyn here today and I’m sad to say that it is my last post as Maja’s Design Team. I had two wonderful creative years working with this talented team. I appreciate so much the opportunity that Jenny and Marie gave me, Thanks ladies! … Why does it take a minute to say hello and forever to say goodbye?-Author Unknown. And for my last post, I selected some of my favorites Maja projects that I made during these last two years.

Hello Maja friends! It’s Andrea coming to you one last time to bring you some delightful Maja Design goodness! This will be my last post as a design team member…I look back at my time here very fondly…Marie is wonderfully creative and generous, Jenny is super supportive and always helpful and the rest of the team, well, they’re just fabulous and wonderfully talented! The Chipboard used is from Dusty Attic

I dipped the poinsettia in water,then heat gunned it so that the petals would curl up.Then I applied 2 coats of red pepper color ink,then a thick coat of clear crackle.Once the crackle I dry brushed in some black chalk to bring out the cracks.I then applied Prima white sand texture,sprinkling on some glitter as the texture was still wet. I also traced the outer piece of the poinsettia,to make leaves under with the paper I was working with. I then glued all the pieces together,using tweezers,to hold it together & giving the glue time to dry…

Here is a LO I did using the, Vintage Frost Basics Collection……

I used 6th of Dec,7th of Dec,10th of Dec,19th of Dec-bs,2oth of Dec-BS & the Christmas die cut sheet

The Chipboard used is from Dusty Attic

I cut the Corner Flourish in half,then painted it with white crackle. Once the crackle dried I rubbed in brown chalk & inked the edges using a brown ink pad……

I used Shimmeringz (Baby’s Breath) on the page pebble,then inked the edges….

I used white crackle paint on the string & bows of the Christmas Banner. I painted the ornaments cloudy blue,then I applied a thick coat of clear crackle, sprinkling on clear glass glitter & rock candy glitter while the crackle was still wet…..

I painted the lace border, with white crackle,& rubbed in the chalk, once the crackle dried. I traced the lace border, on to a piece of paper, I was working with. I then cut it out, applied a thick coat of clear crackle on the paper,then placed the lace border on top of that. I then sprinkled on the glass glitter & rock candy glitter….

Hello,today I am here to share with you 3 stocking cards I made & a LO. Here is the first card using the Vintage Frost Basics Collection…..

I used: 1st of Dec,1st of Dec-BS,3rd of Dec,18th of Dec-BS,Christmas Diecuts

I left the top of the card open,so that I can insert tags,notes ect… I painted the font with DA raisin paint,then applied a coat of clear crackle, once the crackle dried I rubbed on some gesso to bring out the cracks, & did the snow effect on the top,using Prima white sand texture & sprinkling on glitter while the texture was still wet…. 2b0ffa2672c74ad69ad2204c7555be1f

The flowers & berries are Petaloo. I painted most of the chipboard with white crackle paint,then rubbed in a brown chalk, once the crackle dried, to bring out the cracks. I used Prima white sand texture for the snow effect.. 824a45f2-b8d8-4a1e-83d9-4efb861de3b2_zps22719a6a

Used snowflakes as buttons on the stocking…

I used:Birdsong, Mountain Ash-BS,the colours of Fall-BS,

Other products used: Flowers Prima Luna Collection (Lyrical), Sunrise,sunset copper roses, Junkyard findings,metal embellishments,Petaloo flowers
