Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I still can’t get over the Miles Apart collection! I hope you can’t either, as I bring you another card I made using that beautiful set:

I wanted this wedding card to be delicate, pastel and romantic, so I chose light papers in ivory and blush pink to make a background for a die-cut oval panel, upon which I placed a chipboard piece in the shape of newlyweds riding a bike. I think it’s a nice symbol of their future together, common  goals and direction 🙂

I covered the chipboard with subtle irridescent glitter to give it a more glamorous look. I also added a hand-cut stamp image from the Ephemera sheet, a “Postcard” stamped word and a couple of flowers. Opalescent sequins, ribbon with wedding rings pattern and tring complete the design.

The card turned out pleasantly dimensional…

…so I put it in a box decorated with metallic washi tape:

I love how the Miles Apart collection can be used for delicate, romantic projects 🙂 What do you think?

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: Chipboard: Wycinanka.pl; flowers: Prima; die: CreaLies; stamp: Tim Holtz; ribbon, sequins: my stash.

And that’s all for today, stay safe and well and visit us again soon for more inspiration!

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you the wedding card I made for an earlier pupil of mine’s wedding. So it was a bit special to be asked to make a card for her. Therefore I wanted to do something extra. So I made both a frame and a book, then put them together. And I had some perfect papers for it! Just love the new collection, Miles Apart.

All sides are decorated with the gorgeous papers. Inside and outside.

On the front you see the frame I made here. The size of the card measure 14 x 15 cm.

The butterflies are cut out from a Maja Design sheet. This from The Vintage Spring Basics Collection, and it is called 6th of May.

Let’s open the book!

The stamps outside are from Magnolia. Inside I have used stamps from Stempelglede.

Inside the pocket on the left there is a paper to write a greeting on.

Here are the papers used:

Hello Maja Design Friends.   Jennifer Snyder here to share a snowy welcome to the Holidays.
I used a combination of Maja Design collections to make my holiday card vision be successful.
Here is the list of collections and papers used.  It really highlights how well Maja Design collections and coordinate and be used together.

I love making winter cards -and especially love Christmas cards with winter scenes.   The funny thing is I don’t like snow that much.  Sure I love it on a card but not on the ground.
The beautiful door die was made using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for October, and is embellished with sequins and 3D Buttons from Buttons Galore.
The darling snowman was cut from Maja Design ‘s  Holiday in The Alps – Winter Ephemera.  The images on this sheet are fabulous.

The door on this card was designed to swing open.   When opened, you are joyfully greeted  by another sweet ephemera image from Maja Design – Joyous Winterdays – Ephemera.   The little boy is ready to toss a snowball .  So sweet.
Happy Crafting.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

As you can easily tell by the titlte, I bring you a wedding card today that I made using the latest Maja release, the Miles Apart collection:

You most definitely know that Miles Apart papers feature some beautiful and romantic flower patterns that are just perfect for occasions like a wedding. But this time instead of putting those gorgeous flowers in the card background, I took inspiration from them and tried to recreate the bouquet ON the card. And so I chose delicate light papers for the background and added a flower cluster that imitates the patterned papers:

To the rose bouquet I added die-cut leaves, crystal gems and some chipboard ornaments. Vintage ribbon and enamel dots complete the design:

Just look how nicely dimensional it turned out!

…which means it needed a box too 🙂 I decorated it with washi tape with rose pattern – a perfect match!

What do you think? I must say I’m quite satisfied 🙂

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Magnolia; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; ribbon: Na Strychu; chipboard: Scrapiniec, Wycinanka.pl; gems: my stash.

See you soon!

Hello Maja Friends,

I Haven’t posted there for several months and just realized that the last day of Summer is today. This Summer was a bit strange due to different issues, but I hope that you have found a chance to enjoy it.

I enjoyed playing with the new collection Miles Apart.

I love the mute colors it has and the floral motifs that I immediately cut out.

Soon we will enjoy the Fall bright colors, however I adore such kind of flowers this collection has.

I made a couple of quite simple cards using the layers and fussy cutting techniques, however I like how they turned out.

I like to mix the papers from 12×12” and 6×6” size, as you can get the variations of one pattern and get the different look.

For my sentiment I used the titles of the each 12×12” paper sheet.
