Goodmorning lovely Maja Fans,

Are you enjoying the spring weather…here in The Netherlands we had some pretty sunny days but that is over now, sadly but hopefully soon we can enjoy the sun again. For today I have a layout to share. Two weeks ago my computer died on me and I could not post my project {sorry for that} but now my husband fixed that and I can edit my work again yeah. This layout is made with two collections “Celebration” & “Denim and Friends” and Camilla her lovely daughter Freja <3 is on the picture.

On the beackground of my layout I added the pretty waterdrops stamp by Gabrielle Pollacco {still one of my favorite stamps sets ever} but before I added that stamp I used two other stamps to one crackle and one script stamp. After prepairing my background I treated my chipboard pieces with several acrylic paints layered on top of each other to get a worndown look.

After I treated the chipboards I added my flower clusters. Then I took my photograph and layered it on two sheets of the 6×6 paper pads then I placed it on top of the chipboard frame to get more dimension.  At the end I took out a letter sticker sheet from webster pages and made the word bliss and in that corner I placed a metal piece.

At the end I used some of my white spray and gesso to lighten up my flowers and papers…but I also added some art stones and some sea shells. I think that is it on how I created this layout. I had a lot of fun also because we have a son and I really enjoy making layouts with girls being the focal point.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Glamour bs & Champagne bs, Denim & Friends: Streetwear bs.

Thank you very much for your visit, I hope I have inspired you to go and create something beautiful with your Maja papers. Have a wonderful & sunny day!

Love xoxo

Goodmorning Maja Design Fans,

Welcome to this lovely blog today, I am back after being sick with a nasty flue for more then three weeks and I am dreaming to have some warmer weather so for today I made a a summer layout with one of Camilla her daughters on their vacation to Italy last summer. For this layout I used this months mood board colors with the gorgeous “Enjoying outdoors” collection. I also used some of the fancy clocks from the clock sheet from the “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection through out my layout.

I just love the way Camilla takes her pictures most of the time when her girls don’t see it. The chipboards I used are treated with gesso, rust effect paste military set and antique brilliance amethyst magic both by finnabair. All the flowers are by 49 and Market. I got the idea of using my chipboards like this by our very own Tina {thank you for your amazing talent xox}

I used some of the amazing new background 49 and Market stamps 1787 & Flowery Tile designed by our very own Pascale on the Flourishing bs sheet. they I took out my fishnet stencil by Dusty Attic to add on several places on my layout. Underneath my picture & flowers clusters I added some cheese cloth.

After I treated my background I added three horizontal papers strips from the picking flowers sheet and placed the on the top, bottom and just above the bottom to get a flow in my design. And at the end I added some 3d balls and some shells to finish this layout. Did you see the new mood board this Tuesday? If not let me show you again my layout was based on this mood board we sure hope you will play along too…..I for sure can not wait to see your work. <3

Maja Design papers used: Enjoying outdoors collection: Flourishing bs, Picking flowers bs, Having tea in the sun and from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection: no.XVI

Goodmorning Lovely Maja Design Fans,

Today I am filling in for the lovely Nancy since she always makes such lovely cards, I’d like to show you a card I made with the newest collection combined with “Vintage Spring Basics” & “Vintage Autumn Basics”….although she is a queen in making cards I tried to make this card a pretty as she always does. The flowers I used are by 49 and Market and the stamp is designed by our very own Pascale….I just love the clock sheet from the Vintage Autumn Basics so much I almost always use them on my work what is you favorite Maja Design sheet?

I just cut some of the leaves from You’re Invited sheet to add to my flower cluster I just love how that turned out. Since I am a sucker for the color purple I do love that combination with the new collection. The chipboard I used are by The Dusty Attic and to match them to my card I added some wax on them.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: You’re Invited, You’re Invited bs & the 6×6 Paper Pad, Vintage Spring Basics: 10th of April, Vinatge Autumn Basics: no.XVI

Well hello there Maja Design Fans,

Today it’s me again on this lovely blog to show you a layout I have created with the newest collection. I really enjoy creating with it because it’s so versatile. Lately I am hooked on vintage pictures especially from vintage clothing but also lace umbrella’s, beautiful hats with flowers and amazing dresses they made in the sixties and before and after…so I thought why not make a layout with it, it totally went great with the colors of the “Celebration”collection and the new flowers from 49 and Market what a wonderful combination that is right?

For the background sheet I used the Party bs sheet on that sheet I added some script stamp and later on I added a brick stamp after that I used some pink spray and to soften that up I sprayed with white too. The I ripped the sheet with the flowers “Good times”up and added them on both side the left a little smaller then the right one behind the flower sheet I also ripped the pink sheet to create more demension.

The chipboard I added was already black I just used my waxes on them the give them a shimmer and more depth and also a little color so they would not look out of place. I also used my favorite stencil on my background and at the end I added some crystal drops by nuvo in the color antique rose {which is my favorite} on that same stencil on the round parts that is….

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Party, The Table is Set, Good Times and the 6×6 paper pad.

Thank you so much for your visit I hope I have inspired you to play with your Maja Design papers you have in you stash or even order new products I have used here.

Goodmorning sweeties,

My husband’s aunt has three beautiful daughters and the oldest one just has a daughter herself {so there will a layout with the little Fenna really soon}, they always take pictures together and I love using them on my work. The one you see on the left is the oldest and her name is Annelijn, the one in the middle is Lidewij and the youngest is Marielot you see her on the right….For this layout I used the pretty NEW “Celebration” collection with a touch of yellow from the “Vintage Spring Basics”collection. The chipboards I used are by The Dusty Attic and the flowers are the new ones mixed with the older 49 and Market collections.

First I cut the Anniversary sheet in half then I put the outer edges together and cut about two cm’s from the outer edges what first were the inner edges {can you still follow lol} Then I turned the sheet 90 degrees after that I added a pretty grammar stamp by our lovely Pascale and a script stamp by Gabrielle. Later on I sprayed with some lindy’s and added a hearts stencil to my background sheet. All de edges of the paper I inked and distressed. Some of the chipboard pieces were already black and the other ones I gessod black and at the end I used a paintbrush with some white gold wax.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Anniversary & Glamour, Vintage Spring Basics: 1st of March. Mono Celebration-Pearl & Mono Celebration-Old Brass.

Thank you so much for your visit I hope I have inspired you to play with your Maja Design papers you have in you stash or even order new products I have used here. Did you already enter in our moodboard? We would love to see your work 😉

Have a lovely day!4
