Goodmorning lovely Maja Design fans,

Lately I have the baddest luck with all my electronics in my house ughhh, programs on it not working and much more! Today I would like to share two cards I made with the lovely newest ” Traditional Christmas ” collection. I am not such a cardmaker but when I received this pretty collection I had to make me some cards…..loving those gnomes so much.

On my cards I used a whole bunch of dies because I love making flowers with the same kind of papers I am using at that time. I really had fun making these. The cards are tall they have a size 19 cm by 11 cm….that size is my favorite to work with! First I made the flowers and then added all the dies in the composition I’d liked then I took my glue gun and put everything into place.

If you make your flowers yourself you can add a lot of demension to your cards but the don’t fit in a regular envelope lol….I also love adding straws to my cards.

For the phrases on the cards I just used the strips on the bottom of the 12 by 12 sheets. Marie just adds so many nice phrases there to used on your works.

Maja Design papers used: Santa’s Elves-bs, Family gathering, Singing carols-bs, Peace and joy and the 6 by 6 paperpad.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today! I also would like to let you know that I am hosting a Maja Design give away on my blog which will end next month around the 12th. I do hope you will enter it to win www.amyvoorthuis.blogspot.com have a wonderful day and stay healthy & safe

Welcome Maja Design friends. Tina here with you today to share a couple of very cute Christmas Cards that I created with the newest Christmas collection : “Traditional Christmas.”

For those that know me well probably know that cards are really not my thing. I am a scrapbooker but when I opened up my goodies box from Marie I could not resist. This new collection truly is a remarkable Christmas collection filled with soft and elegant vintage touches.

Monochrome Moss Green

And these little guys, aren’t they just the cutest Elves or Gnomes ever? And the papers are just amazing…. and I especially love the sheets of apples and also the present parcel pages. So the apples paper were my starting point. I also used the polkadots and the striped pages as well as a couple of tags from the ephemera page, just some of my favourite pieces from this collection.

I made many layers from the papers using a and b sides distressing and sanding the edges.

I embellished with lots of gorgeous flowers and trims from 49andMarket and a chipboard title from Dusty Attic that was dressed in gold embossing powders. I also added in glitters and fibres.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Take care and stay safe. xx

Hello Maja Design Friends.   Jennifer Snyder here to share a snowy welcome to the Holidays.
I used a combination of Maja Design collections to make my holiday card vision be successful.
Here is the list of collections and papers used.  It really highlights how well Maja Design collections and coordinate and be used together.

I love making winter cards -and especially love Christmas cards with winter scenes.   The funny thing is I don’t like snow that much.  Sure I love it on a card but not on the ground.
The beautiful door die was made using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for October, and is embellished with sequins and 3D Buttons from Buttons Galore.
The darling snowman was cut from Maja Design ‘s  Holiday in The Alps – Winter Ephemera.  The images on this sheet are fabulous.

The door on this card was designed to swing open.   When opened, you are joyfully greeted  by another sweet ephemera image from Maja Design – Joyous Winterdays – Ephemera.   The little boy is ready to toss a snowball .  So sweet.
Happy Crafting.

Hello friends.  Jennifer Snyder celebrating Christmas in July. At the halfway mark to Christmas festivities and time starts moving quickly as we get closer.
I am trying hard to be prepared in advance this year.
With that, I hope I am inspiring you to start your projects early as well.
My cards feature the festive Maja Design Holiday in the Alps collection.

This first card is a yummy gingerbread shaker card made with the following sheets of Holiday in the Alps :
Santa Clause A and B side
A New Year
Christmas Day
I combined three beautiful paper patterns from the Holiday in the Alps collection.  They coordinate so well together. to create a festive look.
The sweet gingerbread cookie shaker is from Creative Embellishments and has been filled with new shaker mix from Buttons Galore that look like tiny peppermint candy and gingerbread cookies.
So adorable.   There are also 3D buttons adorning the card from Buttons Galore and More.

Here is a close up of the background papers and shaker mix.  It’s hard to  see the cool reindeer patterns on the paper at a distance.  The shaker mix is adorable as well.

The second card is more traditional with a stocking shaker and holiday wreath design.
The shaker is once again from Creative Embellishments wit the shaker mix from Buttons Galore’s new collection called Doo Dadz. .

Here is a close up showing the “Merry Christmas ” sentiment.  Have you ever noticed the beautiful borders Maja Design has on the bottom of every sheet of 12×12 paper?
Take a look at the bottom of each sheet.  One side has information regarding the paper and UPC code but the other side is a treasure.  The paper banners make great sentiments on cards.

Thank you for stopping by for a little Christmas in July.
Happy crafting.

Hi everyone! I am back with a tag this time, using the lovely collection Coffee in the Arbour.

Lots of pink to match the pattern papers. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the image and dies used are from Magnolia.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers and Markers.

I have added some corrugated papers behind the image. And painted with white Gesso here and there.

A beautiful butterfly cut out twice to make the double wings.

Some tags where I have used Bazzill paper, and added a pink ring made of Maja papers.

The text is embossed with white embossing powder and a heat gun. All the paper edges are sewed with a sewing machine.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja design blog today. Have a wonderful September!

With love,
