Hello, our blog fans. Today I created the card in the box. It was an individual order and the most important thing was to use the Peacock motif. I matched digital graphic and then found the paper. I mixed different collection – the most important was to find the best shades of blue paper.
To create the background I used a paper sheet from Monochromes Collection. Modeling paste was applied by the mask and then I just compose the rest.
I’m really happy about the final result. Hope you will like it to. Hugs, Paulina
Kavitha here today. Its not often i make masculine theme cards, but i always wanted to make one with our “Denim and friends” collection and finally made it today.I have used lots of papers bits ,die cuts and some chipboard pieces to built my layers. For the background i added little bit of stamping and splatters to added light texture.I have added lots of die cuts in black for a nice contrast to my light background.Hope you will like it.
Mary with you today and I have a new layout with a video tutorial to share with you. I made it for my January inspiration using papers from the gorgeous ”Denim & Friends” colection and some of my favorite chipboards which I placed around a beautiful photo I found on Pinterest.
When I saw it I knew I had to scrap it and the Maja Design papers along with The Dusty Attic chipboards were just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.
You can watch all the procedure here…
And here are some close ups…
I choose for my page the ”Worn Indigo” paper from the Maja Design ”Denim & Friends” collection. I started by applying a coat of clear gesso on the background and then I created texture with modeling paste and a stencil.
Made some stamping here and there and used a Lindy’s Gang spray to add color.
Next, I painted all the Dusty Attic chipboards with Finnabair acrylic paints.
When everything was glued down I added some art stones and glass beads. The final touch was made with some splatters with white acrylic ink.
