Christmas Season Collection Used Year Round

I’d like to show you how Maja Design’s Christmas Season collection can be used all year round. “Christmas Season” is only a name – don’t let it confuse you. Maja Design has provided amazing timeless designs on the “B” sides of the paper so you can craft with the collection all year long – getting the most value for your money.

I created a tri-fold card using an assortment of papers from the collection along with a new die from Spellbinders created by Becca Feeken.

Lovely die – lovely paper – they go together perfectly.

Here is a close up of the cover of my card. The customized flowers were made from the Spellbinders die using the Maja Design papers.

The is the inside of the tri-fold card. It shows how versatile the “B” side of the papers are.

Hello, our blog fans. Today I decided to use the Celebration Collection to create mini-notebooks. I will use them to write down everyday routines and shopping list. I love to create projects with layers and small details.

The background was made with the structure paste and white gesso. Chipboards covered with embossing. In the end, I splashed everything with white and black acrylic paint.

Hello Sweet Maja Fans ,

First I want to wish you all a very Happy and creative New year. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season.

I’m having a bit of a hard time to say goodbye to it. I always love that time of the year.

So one more Christmas post from me for closure and to start with the new year.

As you see no layout , card or minialbum but a altered clock. I bought this one a while ago at the dollar store , and is was waiting for the perfect opportunity to come along .

When I got the latest collection Christmas Season collection I knew I had to use them for this project.

Here you have a closeup from the top of the clock.

And one close up from the bottom. The christmas cards are cut out of the Greeting Cards sheet.

And one fromthe side.

I hope you like my Clock. I keep it at my craft room as a countdown to next Holiday season.

Hello there, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas time and your New Year’s Eve parties were a bang!

I’m happy to be back on the blog with the first layout this year 🙂 And as I wanted to enjoy the holiday collection a little bit more than just around Christmas, I used the Christmas Season papers to make it 🙂

You wouldn’t tell it’s a Christmas collection, would you? That’s what I love about Maja papers, the diversity and universatility that allow you to use themed collections whenever you want! And so I layered some papers in the background and added some squares punched out from scraps to add some pattern:

Since the time is still around the holidays and the carnival is just beginning, I wanted to add some glam and shine and therefore I opted for some gold accents: metal embellies, gold buttons, sequins and glitter:

But at the same time I wanted to make the layout boyish-harsh, so I added denim ribbon and some black stamped “handwritten” sentiments:

I made the title by combining gold foam letters with a die-cut word:

…and the title shines too 😉

And I’m really glad it turned out light and almost clean&simple style (at least for my taste!). What do you think?
