Hello Maja Friends,

so many newborns are coming these days. So I decided to make baby books for their mothers, so that they could keep the records on how their babies grow. Unfortunately theu grow so rapidly and fast that you think you will remember this special newborn’s smell or their tender fingers for years, however the time passes and oopps, you can not remember how it was.

What can be better for a crafter when you are asked to create such kind of projects. I still adore sewing teh covers, so I combine papers and fabric in one.

It’s not easy to make something for the boy tender and sweet , and with no flowers and lace at teh same time, however I am searching for the new ways

Some die cut negatives and hot air ballons – and yes, it still looks boyish

Thus I tried this way for the baby girl book too and it seems it still looks cute

Hello Maja Friends,

I’ve got a short vacation , and we spent a few days by the sea. I am so happy I had a chance to watch it and to breathe it.

So I decided to make a layout using the just taken shots, moreover I made a step by step tutorial.

I chose the papers from the new collection Summertime. Before that I tried only those with the strawberries and roses, time for strawberries left, so it’s time to try something nautical.

You can not believe me, but I am so in love with everything nautical – all those tarts, anchors, sailboats, and this time the images of the kids let me enjoy the process of papercrafting.

I added some flowers and…

made some coloring, you can check it in my video.

However, I don’t know how, but while filming I deleted some clips, so I hope you forgive me that, I only missed the process of priming the background, misting it and adding the texture with the modeling paste and the stencil.

However, I ‘ve prepered some fun tips for you, so please enjoy it.

Hello everyone. I have noticed I started making more baby projects. It seems that my kids grow so fast that I want to stop the time and catch those moments of tiny toes , soft fingertips and so on.

However I have never sewn so many as I do at the moments. I guess some changes are coming.

Today I’ve come to share 2 Photo Frames I made using Vintage  Baby Collection. But they are not ordinary.

They are like accordion and you can put up to 4 pictures inside.

and thin chipboard pieces

I didn’t want to add flowers as the emebllishments, I wanted to keep its simplicity

I think it’s a good idea to combine sewing and papercrafting, it makes the projects to be unordinary.

The size of the pages is approximately  6*4,5 inches  ( 15*12 cm), so you can easily use 6*6 paper pad for this kind of frames.

Hello Maja Friends,

do you enjoy your Summertime?

I do. I had a great vacation and now I am happy to start crafting again.

and for my today’s post I made a very simple but cute mini album, inspired by strawberries, fields, wild herbs and other advantages of the summertime.

I used the new released Summertime collection and I am in love with it  ( as well as with the rest of the collections too).

This time I tried to use only red and green papers, though the collection has wonderful blue ones. I kept them for the future sea inspired projects.

I used minimum of the embellishments, as I wanted to showcase how beautiful the papers are

Hello Maja Fans,

Recently, I have noticed that I started making more projects for babies and kids. It’s such a pleasure to think about all those tiny noses, fingers.

However I like doing them not obviously baby, I like to making them soft, delicate and floral.

This time I created an album for a newborn girl. You will be surprised but I didn’t use Baby Vintage collection, though it is a perfect one for such kind of projects, I took Vintage Spring Basics.
I have already done it several times before and I still think it is so beautiful to use it for the babies.
