Goodmorning everyone,

So glad I am here with you on the last day of the month! Are you all enjoying your summer vacation? Today I have a little treat for you. I made a video tutorial my first {so be gentle with me} with a little help of my husband because I don’t know the program we use for video for editing that good well not jet anyways. For this layout I used the always gorgeous “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection plus one of the blue sheets from the “Vintage Baby” collection this time I went for the blues, green & cream papers. I also added some Dusty Attic chipboard pieces on my work with some handmade {dies by Cheery Lynn Designs}, petaloo & dusty attic flowers. It’s so much fun to use all products from the three design teams I am in……it feels like a true blessing.

The blue and green flowers are the ones that I made myself as you will see in the video. The picture is of my little family well without me lol. I was planning on using the background sheet with the blue flowers on it for ages but I always took out the pink tones in this paper collection because I always have trouble finding the correct blue toned flowers, but this time it worked out very well because I made my own flowers.

Here is my tutorial:

Hope you liked my video and I think I am hooked now but I still have to figure out a lot on how to make it better because on this video you don’t see things because I am working out of the screen sometimes.

As you see here I used some different stencils one with the flowers and one with the text! I really enjoy using mixed media on my layouts. I also stamped randomly on my papers and used many different Lindy’s sprays. For the coloring of my chipboard I used the dusty attic acrylic paints. Don’t you just love the tabs? They add so much to your layout.

On the arrow with feathers underneath my picture I used some treat and some metal gems to make it prettier. I painted that particular pieces with some dusty attic acrylic paint but also with the rust paste set by Finnabair oh boy how I love that stuff. To make my layout complete added some clocks from the same collection I used here.

Hello dear Maja friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today and I am sharing two baby cards that I made. I really had a wonderful time while playing on them. The baby theme is definitely my favorite in either card making or scrapbooking.

First up is the card for a baby boy. Some die cuts here, stitching, flowers, pearls- all the lovely pieces in light shades of the shabby chic style.

and the second one is for the girl:

Fir the girl I basically mad pretty much the same, but also used some glitter on top of some elements for that extra princess sparkle and feeling that this little thing provides.

Hello dear friends! Its Evgenia Petzer with you today. This time I again will show you one of my favourite items to make- its the baby girl journal. It has a fabric cover and inside you can keep all the little, but so important moments noted and nicely organised. Lots of laces and trims I also have used to decorate my cover.

Goodmorning lovelies,

I thought it was time to take out my “Vintage Baby”collection to play with. Lately there are all pregnant ladies and baby’s around me that I am getting little butterflies in my tummy {I would love to have another little one}. Kevin is becoming such a little gentlemen he is eleven already and I feel he is the only one growing up so fast “well” I know that’s not the fact but it just feels like that! Just a little secret {we are going for it} when we are back from our holiday in Turkey this August finally got hubby willing yeah! So you will be seeing me use this collection a lot more in the future.

Maybe some of you know that I also design for Cheery Lynn Designs and I have to tell you they brought out a lovely new whimsical collection! On this layout I used the giraffe & the “you are awesome” text die and they all go so well with the Vintage Baby collection. The picture I used is one of our handsome guy about six years ago I was planing on using a baby picture of him but I have used them all lol…..

Do you see those little hearts on my background page? That was made with a Dusty Attic stencil another little secret of mine I will be designing for them from July on….so thrilled about that using Maja Design papers with those chippies are a match made in heaven. I also added some spray and text stamps on the background. And off course the clocks from the Vintage Autumn collection.

I ordered the rust paste set by Finnabair because I wanted to try it and I used it on the background too and I have to tell you it’s amazing stuff to work with. It’makes your papers all look nicer, lately I am into layering different pieces of papers behind my picture a new style for me that I really love.

IMG_2370Hi there! Today is my turn to host the lovely Maja Design blog. In February I was asked to make a card for baby Elliot. But you know how it is, the real life calls, and you make the card in the last minute.

Anyway, I had so much fun making it. And I got to use the super cute papers from Vintage Baby, which is perfect for baby cards. I have used some of the blue tones from the collection.

Vintage-Baby-P

I have coloured up Baby Edwin from Magnolia, with Distress Ink, Markers and re-inkers.

The postmark stamp and the stamped sentiment are stamps from Stempelglede. The same goes for the butterfly stamp on the writing-part of the card.

Many of the dies used are from Magnolia’s DooHickey club volume 9. And I think the stars fit the image well.

I love the cute little envelopes, also from vol. 9. The tags are cut out with a die called Tilda Tag. I have added Stickles-Star Dust on the image.

I have made the card as an easel card.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today 🙂
