Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Summer Basics. I worked with a photo I’ve taken during an event at the Château de l’Islette (Loire Valley, France).

Next, I added a second design with a second stencil and paper paste. While the paper paste was still wet I sprinkled two embossing powders that I heated set.

I die cut different leaves in a vellum paper and in a watercolor paper. I embossed them with the same powders.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments: some sisal, a few flowers whose hearts I’ve changed, some paper clay elements, the leaves and some crystals.

To finish the layout I stamped again with a text stamp.

Hello Maja Friends,

it’s the first day of Summer, I have been waited for it for so long.  and Now it’s here and I feel so happy

And today I’ve got to share a very special scrapbook page I made for a newborn babygirl

The mother of the baby is my friend and she asked me to create something, where she could keep the photos ( a few) and some notes for her little princess, so the journalling cards

I made several flaps to keep the photos on one page

Her mother likes the ballet theme, so I added the beaded ballerina into the frame. I added some torn paper layers and made die cutting and punching on the paper too.

I mixed 2 paper collections _ Vintage Summer Basics and Vintage Spring Basics, and I like the final result.

Products used:

Prima Marketing Flowers, Spellbinders Dies, The Ton Dies

Precious Memories.

Hello again Sweet Maja fans.

As you could read in yesterdays post of Maja ,  Maja Design is one of the sponsors of the More Than Words challenge and some of us Maja girls had the honour to make some inspirational

work for the main challenge.

The subject is Memories and in addition  you need to uses frames.

Most memories for me are precious, especially this picture of my two kids. My son has autism so not really a cuddler and doesn’t really like physical contact.

I wanted a nice picture from the both of them and he  spontaneously gave her a big hug.  Although they are grown up now ,this still is one of my favorite pictures.

I used some raisinframes I once bought in our local  dollar store, added some embellies and flatback pearls

Tucked some small frames behind the flowers

And a little frame peeping through a tear in the paper with a clock symbolizing how fast time goes by.

Thank you for visiting today

I hope I gave you some inspiration with this Lay out,  Don’t forget to drop by tomorrow  for some new gorgeous work of one of the other Maja Girls.

the papers I used are from the vintage summer basics, flowers from Wild orchid crafts  and the frames come from the local dollarstore.

Hello Sweeties,

Today I’m up on Maje Design blog with a new layout featuring the Celebration collection. I chose a photo of my father with his parents and his sister taken in 1959.

Family Street by Pascale B.

I tore the Champagne sheet in three pieces, and I glued them to the Anniversary. Then, I stamped the background with a brown ink before priming it with clear gesso.

Next, I added a design with a stencil and white crackle paste. I let it dry naturally.

I die-cut some leaves in a watercolor paper, that I colored with green and brown inks.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo as well as sisal. I started to build the composition with different elements: flowers, doily’s scraps, leaves and a black street sign.

When happy, I colored lightly the background with green, brown and pink inks.

To finish the layout I added some microbeads.
