Hello Sweeties
Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout featuring the Vintage Summer Basics. I worked with a photo I’ve taken during an event at the Château de l’Islette (Loire Valley, France).
Next, I added a second design with a second stencil and paper paste. While the paper paste was still wet I sprinkled two embossing powders that I heated set.
I die cut different leaves in a vellum paper and in a watercolor paper. I embossed them with the same powders.
I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments: some sisal, a few flowers whose hearts I’ve changed, some paper clay elements, the leaves and some crystals.
To finish the layout I stamped again with a text stamp.

A really beautiful layout here, and in some really amazing colors, that just scream summer all over it. I´ve always loved teal, as it reminds me sooo much of water and many different kind of leaves too, which is all connected to summer, which is my favorite time of year, so this really speaks to me. Soooo beautiful and well made in every detail.
Thank you so much Maryann!
