Magnificent Place {Caen 2016}

Goodmorning everyone,

Today I will show you my first layout with the super pretty/grungy new “I Wish” collection. As all the collections by Maja Design this one is also very versatile and I used it for non Christmas or wintery layout, actually I made this layout for my colleague {as a surprise I am going to give it to her next Tuesday}. She went to France last September and took a bunch off wonderful picture like this one… I am a hugh sucker for castles, old places, ruins etc so I thought let me use one of these pictures and surprise her.

The flowers I used are from Little Birdie, Dusty Attic and some lilies from a unknown manufacture. These lilies are really lovely to use because you can bent them in every way you want to I used the one my last layout too….. The chipboard pieces are all inked, aged & embossed and are all Dusty Attic!

I used both the 6×6 paper pad as the 12×12 collection to make my layout. I added some Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays & embossing powders and also some stamps and at the end some crackle paste and some art stones {mini & medium}, glass glitter & metal pieces by Finnabair.

Goodmorning everyone,

I am back from a little break I had from designing ‘oh’ and does it feel good creating again…..today I am happy to show you a layout I made with the always pretty “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection! I see you thinking everyone is creating with the new “I Wish” collection why not you Amy……well I am creating with it but I will show you that in due time. Since “Vintage Autumn Basics” is my favorite collection ever made by Maja Design I thought well let me start with that one….to get my scrapping juices flowing hehe..;-)

As the base of my layout I used No.II sheet with the pretty flowers on them and on top of that I layered No.III which I spayed with water and wrinkled on the top and lower part of my layout. I also stitched both parts first before adding them onto my layout. The picture I used is from Pinterest don’t you just love that sweet girl…..so adorable <3

On my layout you see some buckles {oh how I love them} and I used them all the time to add a little extra on my layouts I also love the metal pieces I used here especially the heart……the flowers I used are from Little Birdie, Dusty Attic and some lilies from a unknown manufacture. I would like to show you another layout that I created a little while ago using some wonderful Maja Design papers the picture I used here is from my grandfather and aunt oh how I love those old pictures and my grandpa does look handsome…..for this layout I used some straws {yup I am hooked} and some new Prima flowers and three Maja Design collections do you see which ones?

Hi lovely friends,

Today I would like to share some cards with you using different Maja Design collections. I have to say I am totally hooked on using Maja Design papers so for every project I make I always think which of their collections will fit my theme…..all the cards I will show you today where made for my DT work at Cheery Lynn Designs {a die manufacturer}! But using my precious Maja Design papers……

Sweet Love:

For this shaker card I used the pretty “Vintage Romance” collection and just plain creme card stock and a bunch of dies. I really love the dimension of the flowers that’s what the papers do because of the high quality they are.

Just Because:

This card is made with two collections that fit so well together like all the other collections too btw hihi 😉 and all made out of leftover papers can you guess which ones?

Birthday Wishes:

For my third card I used the amazing “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection and for the centers of my flowers I used micro beads which I think worked out really pretty. The background sheet with the blue flowers is one of my favorite papers from this collection.

You are Awesome:

This is card is one of my favorites ever made and that is probably because it’s purple using the “Vintage Spring Basics” collection helps too and I the use of my favorite dies…..The you are awesome phrase is great too!

Goodmorning lovelies,

Today I am filling in for the lovely Elena Olinevich {and she will have my day next week} with a layout I made out of three different collections. I used a picture of my men that I took on our vacation in Turkey. Also on this layout I used a bunch of Dusty Attic chipboard pieces that I treated all differently I painted, embossed & stamped them. The collection I used are “Vintage Spring Basics”, “Nyhavn” and “Sommartider”……..every flower except the black ones are hand made with lovely dies.

For the first time ever I used straws on my layout……I totally love it! I did see it a lot on scrapbook pages that I had to try it too. I love this color palette especially because purple is my favorite color to scrap. All the chipboard pieces are first gessod and later on painted with Dusty Attic acrylic paint and the circles with the text in them are embossed with Lindy’s Stamp Gang powder. On the frame I added some text stamp on the end.

I enjoy using all the metal pieces there are in this hobby but I have to say I am running out of them and they are not for sale anymore here in The Netherlands it is sad that they are not here forever lol……I so love this picture of my handsome men I am the luckiest woman on this planet.

I did some mixed media on the background too I can’t imagine to not use spray or paste on my work anymore they so give your layout the wow factor hihihihi…..

Goodmorning Maja fans,

I am delighted that you are here because I’d like to show you a card that I created with the super cute new “Summertime”collection! This collection has wonderful images on it and lovely new prints it screams summer…..also it has different color schemes for instance blue/cream, red, pink/cream and also a little green so you can make all sorts of different projects that you prefer. Today I went for the pretty red/green/cream palette. For this card I used a bunch of dies too 😉

It’s a card with a see through part. Behind the French Lattice die I put a piece of transparent sheet you see that on my detailed pictures more then here. I just love that bike so much that I had to fussy cut it and use it on my card.

The flowers are handmade with dies and all the leaves you see are also dies! This collection is for sure going to be one that I will be using a lot more in my future projects. You can also have a chance on working with this amazing collection because later today I will be hosting this months give away on winning this paper collection on my blog…..so if you want a chance please visit my blog later today 😉
