Hello Maja Friends, it’s Elena here to share several cards I made playing with the purple hues.

Each time the leaves left the trees, and the landscape is dull and grey around, I start to look for some bright colors, and I’ve noticed each November I turn to lilac and purple hues.

For my cards I used Enjoying Outdoors collection, so rich and so beautiful for the mature Autumn Season.

I made a lot f die cutting and used the pearlescent gold and white cardstock for my die cuts

They pop up on the purple background, you can notice

However I added the white and pale pink flowers, I wanted my cards to be feminine and soft

I made 3 more cards using the other one sketch

But actually I used the same die shapes for my paper layering

I like adding the pearls as the finish touch to my frames

I hope you have liked my cards. It’s was difficult to stop creating only one or two.

Hi lovely friends,

Today I would like to share some cards with you using different Maja Design collections. I have to say I am totally hooked on using Maja Design papers so for every project I make I always think which of their collections will fit my theme…..all the cards I will show you today where made for my DT work at Cheery Lynn Designs {a die manufacturer}! But using my precious Maja Design papers……

Sweet Love:

For this shaker card I used the pretty “Vintage Romance” collection and just plain creme card stock and a bunch of dies. I really love the dimension of the flowers that’s what the papers do because of the high quality they are.

Just Because:

This card is made with two collections that fit so well together like all the other collections too btw hihi ūüėČ and all made out of leftover papers can you guess which ones?

Birthday Wishes:

For my third card I used the amazing “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection and for the centers of my flowers I used micro beads which I think worked out really pretty. The background sheet with the blue flowers is one of my favorite papers from this collection.

You are Awesome:

This is card is one of my favorites ever made and that is probably because it’s purple using the “Vintage Spring Basics” collection helps too and I the use of my favorite dies…..The you are awesome phrase is great too!

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and for leaving such nice comments every single time we really do appreciate them. I want to wish you a wonderful sunny & creative weekend and I will be here again tomorrow with a layout to share

Hi everyone. Today I have my latest layout to share with you.
I am loving purple lately and the Enjoying Outdoors Collection is jammed pack full of the most gorgeous purple papers. Here is a layout I created with these papers.
I chose the paper Late Summer Flowers (bs) for my background, I added texture with 2 different stencils, one using texture paste mixed with purple mica an the other with white texture paste.
I treated my chipboard with white crackle paste
I used the papers Time for Reflection (bs) and Scent of Lavender to layer behind my photo. Then I cut two tags from the Tags & Journalling cards paper to tuck in. Finally I cut some purple butterfly images from the Garden Creatures paper to add to my page.
I finished the page by adding flowers, a resin frame, liquid pearls and a title coloured with white and purple embossing powder.

Hello Sweeties
Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new family photo. It’s a photo of my paternal grand-mother and her foster father taken at the end of 10’s, beginning of the 20’s.

I started to add a thin layer of white gesso. Then I added a design with Modeling Paste and a stencil.

When the Modeling Paste was dry, I added clear Crackle Paste here and there and let dry again.

In the meantime I die-cut the gears, leaves, branches and colored the flowers.

I painted the gear with black gesso and added Rusting Powder.

After having assembled all the elements of the page, I finished with some random stamping, splatters of black gesso and some black glass glitters.

Enjoying Outdoors Collection
Picking Flowers
Singing in the rain
Time for reflection

Hello Maja Friends,

Today I have a card to share with you. It has one of my  favorite colors Рpurple and lilac.

I absolutely love new collection, so rich in colors. I think new many cards and albims are coming. as I have started crafting and can not stop using it.

This time I tried to add as more paper layers as possible, No doubt the papers have been the main focus.

It was quite easy, as the papers were so perfect to match eaach other.
