Hello Sweet Maja Fans.

I’m one of the people who can’t wait till Christmas,

I never do someting fancy just  hanging on my couch with a blanket hot tea or coco watching christmas movies . A lazy, cozy Christmas.

This year most of the time with my son who decided to sleep over this year, our daughter made plans with friends and my husband is at sea with the holidays.

I always buy some kind of countdown calander, filled with cocolate or something else. Last year I had one filled with wine.

I had a small one glass bottle everyday and there were some very nice ones in it.

This year I decided to make one my own with the great new collection traditional Christmas.

And here it is:

It’s an countdown calender from the dollarstore that I coverd with layers of the peace and joy sheet ,and added some  “snow ” made with glitter, gesso , 3D-gel  and mica flakes from Mellissa Frances.

I cut out some little gnomes  from the 6×6 paperpack of Traditional Christmas and placed them in the “snow”

Made some ornaments with numbers using the 6×6 PaperPack as well, so I can count down the days

Thank you very much for visiting, hope to see you back again.

Take care and stay Safe!

Welcome Maja Design friends. Tina here with you today to share a couple of very cute Christmas Cards that I created with the newest Christmas collection : “Traditional Christmas.”

For those that know me well probably know that cards are really not my thing. I am a scrapbooker but when I opened up my goodies box from Marie I could not resist. This new collection truly is a remarkable Christmas collection filled with soft and elegant vintage touches.

And these little guys, aren’t they just the cutest Elves or Gnomes ever? And the papers are just amazing…. and I especially love the sheets of apples and also the present parcel pages. So the apples paper were my starting point. I also used the polkadots and the striped pages as well as a couple of tags from the ephemera page, just some of my favourite pieces from this collection.

I made many layers from the papers using a and b sides distressing and sanding the edges.

I embellished with lots of gorgeous flowers and trims from 49andMarket and a chipboard title from Dusty Attic that was dressed in gold embossing powders. I also added in glitters and fibres.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Take care and stay safe. xx

Hohoho Merry Christmas to all you Maja fans!

First I want to wish you all the very best for the upcoming holidays .

This will be my last post for this year and hope to see you all back  in the new  year .

I love to decorate my home  at christmas time  and make some decorations myself.

I made this banner using my favorite Christmas colors red and white from the new Christmas collection ,Holiday in the Alps and the monochromes of Holiday in the Alps.

I used a lot of shimmer and glitter , but with the dark and grey days at the moment and using artificial light it’s hard to catch it at the picture.

The letters , rosettes and lace-snowflakes are all treated with nuvo glitter accents.

Thank you for visiting , happy holidays and hope I see you back next year.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

It’s Christmas time! The most wonderful time of the year, filled with joy and love (or at least, it should be). In the evening many of us will sit at the table with their loved ones to celebrate Christmas Eve, go to church at midnight for the Holy Mass of Christ’s Birth, enjoy presents and sing carols 🙂

And so in anticipation of those beautiful moments I created an album for photos that will preserve precious memories:

I used a ready made album base and decorated it with papers from the Holiday In The Alps collection. I first applied a stencil pattern on the linen cover and then used pieces of papers and added a flower cluster:

At first I was going to decorate the front cover and just layer some papers on the accordion-joined pages inside and decorate them in detail when the photos come, but then I just got carried away… 🙂 The elements on each page are slightly raised so that I can slide in photos later.

I really love the way it turned out and can’t wait to fill it with family Christmas photos!

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Craft&You Design, Magnolia, Spellbinders, Sizzix; metal embellishments: Mitform; button: Scrap.com.pl; ribbon: Dovecraft; glitter: Nuvo; sequins, cheesecloth, string – my stash.

And since this is my last post this year, I want to wish you the happiest Christmas, blessed with joy and peace and all the best in the New Year!

Good morning, dear Maja Fans, welcome to the blog today 🙂

If you still celebrate the sadly vanishing tradition of sending Christmas cards, I guess it’s time to start to send them 🙂 And if you’re looking for some inspiration, let me share some shaped cards today:

I used the latest release, the Holiday In The Alps collection. It contains several papers in darkest colours of the set and featuring beautiful damask patterns. Here I took the navy blue paper, applied a white stencil pattern upon it – just look at the gorgeous contrast! – and added embellishments:

The flower cluster includes foamiran poinsettias I made myself 🙂 I also added a die-cut manger scene:

There’s also a brown damask paper in the set:

I paired it with the burgundy paper and added some colour-matchign embellishments, with art clay angels made with a mold:

And, last but not least, the burgundy version of the same pattern:

Here I applied a snowflake pattern upon the paper and added a chipboard quotation from a Polish Christmas song. Then I added my embellishments, including a large Prima poinsettia, my handmade foamiran poinsettia and some twigs and leaves die cut from glitter cardstocks.

And here’s the whole set:

I really like how they turned out, glimmering and festively rich 🙂 What do you think?

Here’s my list of supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stencils: Agateria, Heidi Swapp; flowers: Prima, handmade; dies: Marianne Design, Magnolia, Craft&You Design, Tim Holtz/Sizzix; chipboard: Scrapiniec; crystals, ribbon, mold: my stash.

That is all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!
