Hello Sweet Maja fans.

Lenet here and I’m a little late today. I was working on an other project but got stuck on that one,  so I decided to start a new one and that made me running out of time.

Today I made this Christmas layout for you , using the gorgeous new Christmas papers Christmas Season . LOOOOVE them.

While I was making this one I was listening to a mix of Evanescence , Night wish and Within Temptation so it got a little  Gothic feel over it.

Not my  intention but I love how it turned out , hope you do to.

The chippies U used  ( the sentiments and swirls ) are from  Dusty Attic. I colored them with embossing powder.

The sentiments with black embossing powder from WOW  and the Iron Garnish #2 swirls with ultra thick festive candy  from Blond Moments.

I love their embossing powders such a shame the company is not here any more.

The golden glitter snowflake , star and red and white berries are are from my stash , leaves  from making memories and the branches with red from Prima marketing.

Thank you for stopping by, hope I gave you some inspiration with these wonderful papers.

For me it’s time to set the Christmas tree and start decorating the home..YAAAY.  I love this time of the year.

Hope you enjoy your Holiday month too.

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

You have already had a chance to see some Christmas cards inspirations from my talented DT friends, using the latest Maja Design release, the Christmas Season collection. And here are mine too 🙂

I decided to feature both sets of the collection’s colour palette: the classic Christmas red and green and the very wintery blue and ecru.

For the first card I used a chipboard layered Christmas bauble as my focal element.

I layered the selected background papers and covered the bauble base with polka dot red sheet. Then I added the top filigree layer embossed with golden ep and decorated with a button and pearls. I also added the flower cluster to the top of the bauble:

The second card features a die-cut snowflake with a manger scene button:

To decorate it, I added a flower cluster with vintage seam ribbon bow and some postcards cut out from one of the papers. Various winter leaves and the snowflake are die-cut from glitter cardstock and they look like iced snow, glistening against the light! I also added some liquid pearls dots to imitate snow falling:

The cards are both a little dimensional, but will still fit into envelopes – perfect to mail to family and friends 🙂

And here’s what I used to create my cards:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Sizzix, Magnolia, Spellbinders; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; chipboard: Wycinanka.pl; buttons: 3rd Eye; liquid pearls: Viva Decor.

Thank you for visiting today, drop by tomorrow for more inspiring projects!

Welcome friends!

I’m very happy to share with you a new layout with our latest collection ‘Christmas Season’.

This collection, is a wonderful Holiday/Winter combo with red and blue season colours. You will have a holiday collection

that you can continue to use well past Christmas.

My absolutely favourite in this very beautiful collection is the sheet ‘Mail the post cards’, I love the very delicate background scenery

and the lovely woman at the mailbox in a mixture of soft winter colours.

I have set myself the task to cover up as little as possible of the amazing motifs.

used papers

some details

I used some cutting dies and added some wonderful chipboards from Dusty Attic to add dimension.

a real postcard motif with a little snow flurry made with Snow Tex (DecoArt)

As I saw the paper sheet ‘Greeting Cards’ I thought, yes, that’s the perfect addition for this theme.

So  I cut out some individual postcards, using the paper distresser tool and inked around the edges with  dark brown.

This project was so much fun to create and I love the scene that you can build up, using some paper sheets from the new collection.

Thanks so much for your visit!

I hope this layout will set you up for a beautiful and relaxed Advent season!

Hi everyone! It is Camilla again here, with a pink Christmas card for a change. I made this card for the magazine Ett Trykk’s Christmas edition. And I have used some pinkish shade papers from the gorgeous Vintage Frost Basics Collection.

I have added several layers with the papers, and also used some on to the cute tags.

The text “God Jul” is made with a die from Papirdesign. God Jul means Merry Christmas 🙂

I have made the flowers out of Foamiran sheets and flower dies. I use my heat gun to make them shrink and curl up. Under the flowers I have put some Sisal grass.

The image is from Magnolia, and I have used Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers for my colouring.

The texts on the tags are from Stempelglede. The tags are made with dies from Magnolia. And I have used a Go Kreate die for the whole card.

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog today!

Take care,
