Hello our blog fans 😉 Time flies, definitely ! It is the last moment to create some card for Easter 🙂 Hope you have found some time to do it already … I need to hurry up …. Here are my first two card for this occasion :

I started to create my project by choosing the paper and add-ons. My idea was to create a little bit unsual cards – that’s why you will not find Easter eggs there 🙂

Easter For the base I used the “Mono Straw Wheat” from Monochromes Collection. These papers fits perfectly to the other collections! Next one was Vintage Spring Basics with the amazing pastel and floral patterns.

Easter Easter Hope you will like my project. I would like to wish all of you HAPPY EASTER that is filled with plenty of love and happiness :*

Hello dear friends, Evgenia Petzer with you today. I am sharing with you a card with a coloured in image 9i clot my images with prismacolors), the image is from LOTV.

and some close ups:

I used lots of die cuts, on some of them I put flower soft , it matches the image and the flowers around the card beautifully.

I have used the mixture of papers from all the different collections, all the leftovers that I had and that were matching by color.

Goodmorning lovelies,

Spring is in the air and I love it….it’s my favorite time in the year because now summer is really nearby. I really enjoyed the latest mood board from Maja Design did you already enter the challenge? If not I will have some inspiration for you using the beautiful mood board. It has beautiful greens and blues in it and such a romantic vibe….that I really enjoyed creating this layout as I do with all of my Maja Design projects.

I cut the The magnificent Flowerstreet bs sheet in half and placed it on top of the 6th of March bs sheet! Then I added some sprays, stamps and paste on my layout. All the chipboard pieces are by Dusty Attic and I gessod them all, and some of them I embossed and others I added some rust past & mini prills on.

The flowers I used are by several manufacturers. I really loved the text on the mood board that’s why I added it on my work in papers strips that I just printed out on my computer. I won a wonderful prize last month at a challenge site with all 13 Arts products and the hugh glass circle I added on top of the “happiness” disk is one of them.

Goodmorning Maja Design Fans,

How nice of you to visit the blog, today I would like to share a 12×12 layout with you using a almost 46 year old picture of my family on moms side. From left to right you see my mom, uncle Evert, my great grandmother Johanna, aunt Ellen, grandpa Arthur and grandma Anna. Oh how much I love those older pictures <3 For this layout I used two collections the pretty “I Wish”& “Vintage Spring Basics”! I took out the purple papers from the last one {to match the flowers I used} and the cream and brown papers from the I Wish collection.

I cut out a V part on top of my layout to use my dusty attic zipper chippie behind the tare then I added a couple of stamps by the very talented Gabrielle Pollacco on my background. Then I used a couple of Lindy’s sprays {purple & brown} to give the papers more shine then I used the script stencil to finish my work. I also stamped around the edges of my layout with a stitch stamp.

The flowers I used have just the amount of shimmer which I like and are from 49 and Market. The chipboard pieces are just inked around the edges and then sprayed with three different colors and inked around the edges again. Then I took out my brush to add some purple mica powder to give it a little shimmer.

Maja Design papers used: I Wish: I wish to play in the snow bs, I wish for frosty mornings bs, I wish you a Happy new Year & I wish you a Happy new Year bs. Vintage Spring Basics: 9th of April, 10th of April BS, 11th of April & 11th of April BS.

Hi everyone,

I’m super excited to be joining the Maja Design DT and today I’m showcasing my first project.

I created a Shabby Chic Journal Cover to give as a gift to someone and I knew the Vintage Spring Basics collection were perfect for covering the journal.

Below, is a short step by step video tutorial on how I created it.

Here are some close-ups of my journal cover:

To create texture in the background I used a script The Crafters Workshop stencil with some modelling paste. I wanted to keep it very clean and shabby.

I used some matching Prima Marketing flowers, leaves and vines to embellish the book.

The doily under the flowers was cut out of the 7th of May Vintage Spring Basics paper using Prima’s die-cut metal doily.
