Hi everyone! It is Camilla here today with a birthday card using the brand new STUNNING papers from the Celebration Collection!! For this card I have used papers and colouring in brown/pink tones. I hope you like it!

What a MUST HAVE!! 🙂

The image is from Magnolia and I have coloured her with Distress Ink, reinkers and Markers. I tried to pick up some of the colour tones in the papers for the colouring.

If you look closely you can see the writing “gratulerer” (congratulations) which I have cut out with a die from Papirdesign. I used the back side of the paper called “All dressed up”.

Some lovely tassels made with a Magnolia die and the paper called “Jubilee”. I think the Jubilee sheet is maybe the most beautiful of them all, but I love roses!

Another closeup of the cut out text and the beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. And as you see I have lots of layers 🙂

Thank you so much for visiting the Maja blog today!

Here are the beautiful papers used:

With love,

Maja Design is 10 years old.
Jennifer Snyder here to show you the gorgeous new Maja Design Celebrations paper collection created to celebrate the last 10 years and to start off the next 10, creative wonderful years of papercraft.
In addition to the patterned collection, Maja Design has a solid collection called, Monochromes -Shades of Celebration.  The Shades of Celebration are solids that perfectly match the colors of the  Celebrations collection.
I created two cards using this collection.  My first card was inspired by the pink cameo broach in the picture.  I used the following papers on this card:
Welcome
Birthday – the border
Monochrome -Shades of Celebrations.
Maja Design papers have the most beautiful and unique borders on the bottom edge of each page.  I used the border edge, “Happy Birthday” from the Birthday paper as my sentiment.
I have provided a larger image of the sheet so you can see the border.
I also used a beautiful die from Spellbinders as a decorative frame on the card.

Here is the second card using Celebrations paper collection. In additions to the Monochrome-Shades of Celebrations, I also used:

Glamour

Would You Care to Dance?

The decorative frame on this card is also made using a Spellbinders die.
Thank you for supporting Maja Design for these past 10 years.  We all look forward to the next 10 years.

Hello Maja Friends,

The holidays are over, however winter season is a perfect time for baking or preparing something sweet.

This time I made a cook book using Fika collection

I like it for the color palette and the patterns it has

I made the dividers for my book. To add a more vintage look I used the lace , strings and the die cuts.

I played mostly with the fruit and tea/ coffee theme embellishments

I also made some fussy cutting

Most of all I like the colors of purple, green and chocolate, so yummy

Have  a good day

Products used:

Spellbinders Dies, Crochet Doily, Leaves

Hello this is Lenet,

here I am with my second layout , this time I used papers from the gorgeous new collection Celebration.

I really love the vintage feel of the sepia/grey /black papers and thought the were perfect to use for this lovely picture of Billy Holliday.

I used three different papers each a little smaller than the other for my background. I made some crackle with embossing paste and a mask,

and made it a little smudged and old looking with some tea stain distress ink.

As for the mat behind the picture I used the monochromes Shades of Celebration ,that come with this new collection.

On the picture I placed a pearly  and black rhinestone border from want2scrap and some gardenia’s the flowers she always wore in her hair.

The round black chippie with the word lovely is from Dusty attic the flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid crafts and 49and Market

On both sides of the picture I used a cut in half swirly corner from Dusty Attic that I colored with black glitter embossing powder I mixed myself.

That’s it for this lay out, I hope you like it.

Thanks for visiting,

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

In a couple of days grandkids in Poland are going to celebrate the Gradma and Grandpa days. We all know how important is the role of grandparents to kids, and so it’s one of our most favourite celebrations. for that occasion I made two cards, for grandma and grandpa:

Perhaps you’ve recognised the collection I used for my cards? Yes, that’s our latest release, Celebration 🙂 Both cards have the same design and feature the images of elegant vintage people.

For the grandma’s card I selected mauve papers from the collection:

I layered papers, added a chipboard filigree decorated with a pearl brad and a flower cluster adorned with printed ribbon:

The grandpa’s card features blue papers:

I also used a chipboard piece on the layers of papers, but to give it a more masculine feel I chose a net fragment and added gears and a nail brad apart from the flowers:

The Celebration collection is just perfect for any festivity, with its subtle colours and classy patterns.

What do you think?

And here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: stamps: Lemonade; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; brads: Rahyer, Craftmania; chipboard: Scrapiniec; ribbon, string: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for stopping by and see you soon!
