Hello Maja freinds,

My turn again t make a blogpost and bring you something to inspire you .

This time I made you a dangletag. I came across this I dea on pinterest and just fell in love with it.

I had to make one.

For this project I used the 15×15 paperpad from the Celebration collection ,I love the pretty faces of the ladies they really need a nice frame.

The frame I used is from Prima marketing and did some gilding on it with gilding flakes from Nuvo .

I used two colors  and rubbed some walnutstain distress ink over it to give it a vintage feel.

The flowers are from Prima marketing and wild orchid.

I cut an extra piece  at the same width as the tag  decorated it and hung it underneath with some jumprings.

Used some very nice chippies from crapininiec  and added some pearls on it.

I really loved making this tag hope I inspired you with it to make your own .

Let’s Celebrate!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to our blog!

Today I am going to celebrate with you 🙂 And therefore I have some birthday cards:

And what better collection to use for such festive cards than our own Celebration? 🙂 I mixed papers from the regular and small pads.

The first card features a sweet cupcake:

I layered purple and beige papers and used the rich dark brown floral paper for the background, matting the die-cut cupcake with a contrasting sand Monochrome sheet. I added matching polka dot ribbon and a metal charm in the shape of a teapot. Here’s the birthday tea party 🙂

The stamped sentiment says in Polish: A lot of happiness and sweetness. How fitting!

For the second card I used a dreamcatcher motif:

For this card I selected the blue papers of the collection and composed the dreamcatcher combining a doily and feather dies:

I also added vintage ribbon and a button and finished off the design with gem stones, pearls and glitter:

I made the third card to…well, use up the leftovers 😉

I used the tiniest bits to punch the doily border and die-cut the banners. Then I used larger pieces to make the background:

The patterned papers make the beauty of the card, so other decorative elements include only flowers, pearl border and some delicate stamping:

Here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Marianne Design, X-cut; punch: Martha Stewart; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; stamps: Lemonade, the ScrapBerry’s; bling, pearls: Creative Expressions; glitter: Ranger, Nuvo.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the Denim and Friends collection. I worked with a photo of my parents.

Mom and Dad by Pascale B.

First I primed the background paper with clear gesso. Then I stamped randomly with a text stamp and a brown ink. Next, I added a design. with a stencil and white crackle paste.

When the paste was dry, I colored it with teal and brown inks.

I die cut some leaves as well as some wildflowers in a watercolor paper. I colored them with the same colors I used to color the background, I just added a touch of purple to the wildflowers. I colored some flowers too.

I added more stamping with a black ink. Next, I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued all the embellishments with a 3D gel.

To finish the layout, I added some microbeads.

Hello dear friends, Evgenia Petzer with you today. I have made the mini album on thick tags ( I have used the tim holt sizzix die for making the tags and cutting the papers from the great Denim and Friends collection).

For now I have put the pictures from the die cut sheet in the album, but they are not sticked and can be easily replaced by the real photos.

as always, I prefer to use kraft/black accents in my masculine projects. And this collection was also calling for deep blue shades.  aren’t these pictures the cutest? they also come in the paper pads.  some close ups:  also all type of stars look great on the men voted projects, and if you find (or just color the hearts in black) even they will look appropriate here:)

the glorious Denim and Friends collection:

Have a lovely weekend,
