Hello Maja Fans,

Fall is here. My favorite season, but I am still reviewing the memories of this summer. So here is my Layout that I made with the shot taken last days of August.

I like spending the time at our country side house . The flowers and plants there inspire me for a long dull winter days, so I decided to create stamped poppies and colored them with Copics

I mixed different collections there and focused mostly on the smooth colors of green , red and yellow.

I also made some die cutting using Maja papers to create the leaves for my stamped flowers.

It was easy to make choosing the olive and chest nut tones for the die cuts.

Hope my today\s post will warm you if the weather is rainy and foggy .

Hi dear MajaDesign followers!

It is almost the end of September, which means it’s time to reveal the winner of this month’s Mood Board.
Fall season here at my place on the Globe means shorter days and chilly weather, which gives you the perfect opportunity to just stay inside and enjoy some lovely craftwork. That is what I will be looking forward to now when the Summer officially is over for this time…

A little reminder of what the Mood Board looked like:

Congratulations Marlies! We think you captured both the colours and the feel of the mood board in a great way ♥

This is Marlies words about her lovely card:
“I was inspired by the colours, the words last of Summer, trees, outdoors and cozy. The two little mice are enjoying the last of the warm Summer days before going into their warm and cozy home.
The papers I used are Walking in the forrest. The image is a stamp I coloured with distress ink. “

Thank you to all the participants! You’ve all done a great job ♥  and we hope to see you back for the October challenge, wich will be published on the 1st of October.

Hello Maja fans!

Today, I would like to share a new layout made for my September inspiration using papers from the gorgeous ”Enjoying Outdoors” collection. As usual, I’ve also used 49 and Market flowers, Dusty Attic chipboard and Finnabair moulds to embellish my page and achieve a romantic and elegant feeling.

As always, I found my photo on Pinterest and before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I used the back side of the ”Beautiful Trees” paper and made several layers with torn pieces of the ”Having Tea in the Sun” paper on the background. I also used the back side of the same paper to mat my photo. To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso and then, I created texture with the Finnabair White Gold icing paste and a stencil. When the paste dried, I used the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Edelweiss Moss Green and Greased Lightnin’ Green sprays to add color.

Next, I applied paper paste on the chipboards to make them textured and painted them with the Finnabair Golden Moss acrylic paint.

Then, I layered all the gorgeous elements around my photo and added in some 49 and Market flowers.

Papers used:

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Until next time happy crafting!

Beautiful dreamer.

Hello Sweet Maja fans.

Lenet here , and today I bring you this layout . I made this one inspired my the current moodboard challenge.

I build this layout wit several left overs I had in my leftover-box from previous layouts.

Like I mentioned before , I never throw anything away, you never know if you can use it again on an other layout, card , minialbum or any other project.

The only thing you need to do is remember to go thru your leftovers from time to time, don’t forget about them.

Here I have a close up for you. The leaves on the background are made with mask from dusty attic and versamagic jumbo java and hint of pesto.

I also colored some cheesecloth with it to use behind the flowers that are from Prima marketing.

I hope you like this layout I made for your inspiration, there is still time to join the moodboard challenge.

thank you for watching hope to see you back again.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Ah, masculine projects! Who finds them easy to make? Even being the only woman in the house doesn’t make me any smarter. But luckily Maja Design has one of the best masculine papers and therefore Deim&Friends is my all-time favourite 🙂 And since we are going to celebrate Boy’s Day soon (in Poland it’s on September 30th), I decided to make some masculine cards.

I was inspired by the Snapshots paper from the collection, in which you can see the torsos, but not the faces – and having a men’s outfits dies in my collection, I thought it would be fun to follow the pattern 🙂 And it was, really, a great fun to put pieces together like in the old days of making paper dolls!

The first card is more elegant and would be perfect for birthday or graduation. I assembled a suit with a shirt and bowtie and placed it upon the background that reminds me of a pattern on my husband’s silk scarf. Then I added some glam with midnight blue glitter on the chipboard sentiment:

The other card would be great for a teenager, a birthday or congratulations card:

I die cut pieces to assemble a casual shirt and die-cut the number in it. Then I added a signature strip with the words “You rock”, a star charm and a sentiment matted with metallic copper cardstock:

And I really like the way the cards turned out – simple, but fun and with a touch of glam, as who likes to shine more than our men? 😉

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Marianne Design, Sizzix, Rosy Owl; chipboard: Scrapiniec; string, charm: my stash.

What about you? Do you like making masculine projects or suffer if you have to make them?

See you soon!
