Goodmorning & happy Friday Maja Fans,

Today I am futuring Camilla her beautiful girls on a 12 by 12 layout using the two Maja Design collections “I Wish” & “Summertime” I really love to combine those two. I took the brown out of the first collection and the blues from the second to compliment their pretty dresses. This layout has some playful circles {which would totally fit with the sweet girls on the picture} on them and some lovely flowers by Petaloo and My Little Birdy, I also added some new Dusty Attic chipboard designs.

I had a lot of fun using a bunch of mixed media products on my layout like sprays, stamps especially the stamps by Gabrielle Pollacco from 49 and Market. Don’t you just love this picture?? Camilla you have such lovely girls kind of jealous with a teenager boy in my household lol….

I also used a new stencil by Dusty Attic to compliment my layout and some blue spray by Lindy’s and prills…all the stitch parts are with a sewing machine but the stitches on the picture are by hand.

Hello Maja Friends,

I do like watercoloring. I ‘ve used to practice it a lot when I was a child. I wish I could do it more often now.

But I found how I can combine scrapbooking and watercoloring

When I saw new Maja collection – Monochromes, I thought it is a good chance to work more thoroughly on your background. But then I forgot about it, and only after I almost finished my layout, I ‘ve realized that I’ve missed something. and I started sketching and drawing with a brush.

I have told many times that I love Maja papers as they reflect my favorite colors, and I guess that this color combo is the most natural for me. So first I wanted to keep it’s monochromatic look and played mostly with pink tones.

I also made some fussy cutting from the Vintage Romance papers. Normally I don’t like roses as the flowers, but this time I cut out several of them

However my drawing was not about the roses

It was fun creating the background, I think I need more practice .

Hi Everyone, Its Keren here for the Maja Design blog with a new project.

I created another gratitude journal using the Vintage Summer basics collection.

I covered a plain notebook with the 1922 paper from the collection and even cut a small border for the edge

for the doily under the flowers I used the 1904 paper as it was pretty neutral. Then I embellished with some Prima Marketing flowers and vines.

I used the Vintage Summer Basics collection to cover this journal:

I used to doodle on my notebooks and on anything I could get my hands on. Fourteen years ago I discovered scrapbooking and fell in love with it. One of the main reasons I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children. Scrapbooking opened a creative door to something that I had longtime forgotten I'd loved. It gave me peace of heart and mind. visit my blog for more inspiration: https://kerentamir.blogspot.ca

Hello our blog fans 😉 Time flies, definitely  ! It is the last moment to create some card for Easter 🙂 Hope you have found some time to do it already … I need to hurry up …. Here are my first two card for this occasion :

DSC_6893   I started to create my project by choosing the paper and add-ons. My idea was to create a little bit unsual  cards – that’s why you will not find Easter eggs there 🙂

EasterFor the base I used the “Mono Straw Wheat” from Monochromes  Collection. These papers fits perfectly to the other collections!  Next one was Vintage Spring Basics with the amazing pastel and floral patterns.

EasterEasterDSC_6884Hope you will like my project. I would like to wish all of you HAPPY EASTER that is filled with plenty of love and happiness :*
