Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the Nyhavn collection. I chose a photo of “K on Sun” Franz Kafka’s head statue made by David Černý. The elements which composed the statue revolved all the time as you can see it here.

Did you know that the front page of the Nyhavn collection has a beautiful design on his backside? It is the one I use for this layout.
As usual, I primed the paper with clear gesso. When dry, I added a design with a stencil and the Platinum crackle paste.

When dry, I added some colors with different acrylic paints, I watered them down to obtain a watercolor effect.

I die cut a few embellishments: gears and leaves in a watercolor paper, and some letters in a black paper. I covered the leaves with the platinum crackle paint and add some Brushed Iron wax. I colored some of the letters with the same wax.

I painted the gears with the Raven Black Sparks and added some waxes too. I also painted the flowers and the leaves with some Sparks paints.

I glued all the embellishments as well as some papers that I added under the photo.

To finish the layout I added some micro beads.

Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to show you layout. I decided to create this project inspired by my last pictures taken for the school. I love black and white photography. Mystical clouds, darkness of the mountains and the fog – amazing combination. I tried to keep my layout really simple and clean – take a look, please :

LO

Few layers of the paper, gaze and some laces – added irregularly, like the clouds …

LayoutLayout… matching sentence. Just a few words gives as really nice focus point next to the picture.

Layout

Metal embellishments, die-cut chipboards from Scrapiniec, a little bit of colours … LayoutLike you could see… you don’t need many add-ons to create some project. Use your imagination and create.

Hugs, Paulina

Layout

Hello my dear friends and happy Sunday to all!

It’s Mary here with you today and I want to share with you my latest layout made with papers from the ”Enjoying Outdoors” collections.

A soft romantic layout in purple and earth tones that was inspired by the beautiful photo which I found on Pinterest. And, before I continue I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

1

I used for my background the ”Flourishing” paper from the ”Enjoying Outdoors” collection. I also used some tags and a journaling card from the ”Tags & Journaling cards” paper to mat my photo.

2

I primed my background with clear gesso and when it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I colored my page using Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays ”Tea Pot Purple” and ”Pegleg Pete Purple”.

3

I heat embossed the ”Fishing Net Bit” chipboard with ”Pop Rock Purple” Lindy’s embossing powder. The title was also embossed with the ”Angel Wings Mauve” powder. All the chipboards I used are 2crafty and the flowers and embellishments are Prima Marketing. The flair is from Cuts2luv.

4

To finish my page, I added a few shells in my clusters and some licorice glass beads with gel medium.

Hello Sweeties

Today I’m up on Maja Design blog with a layout featuring the I Wish collection even if we are not in winter. I chose a photo I’ve taken during my trip in Prague of the “Horse” from David Černý: a statue of St Wenceslas riding his dead horse upside-down.

I primed the background with clear gesso. When dry, I added a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste which I let dry naturally.

In the meantime, I die cut a few leaves on a watercolor paper and I colored them with differents Twinkling H2Os. I sprayed some flowers with a gold shimmer.

I cut a few papers to add under the photo and I glued the flowers and leaves.

I added some random stamping. To finish the layout, I added some mica flakes and glass glitters.
