Hello Sweeties

Today, I’m up on Maja Design blog with a new layout made with different paper collections. You will see how easy it is, to mix them all.

Snails by Pascale B.

I used the Wind in the air paper from the Summertime collection as background. As usual I primed it with clear gesso before adding a design with a stencil and clear crackle paste.

When dry, I added some colors with twinkling H2Os that match the photo.

I chose different papers from different collection to add under the photo: a dark blue from from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection and two brown-green from the Enjoying Outdoors collection. I distressed the edges.

Then I started to build the layout: I started to glue the papers, then I added progressively all the elements starting by the biggest and finishing with the smallest (the leaves).

When happy with the result, I added some micro beads.

Hi everyone, today I have 2 cards made with the  Summertime Collection.

The Summertime Collection has both gorgeous red and amazing blues. At the moment I am loving the blue tones in this collection.

To make these cards I used three pieces of paper – Summertime collections Glittering Water, Wind in My Hair and Cute Summer Dress.
I layered the three papers together and embellished with flowers, ribbon, lace and pearls.

Hello there, Maja Design Friends, welcome to the blog 🙂

It’s Maja here to share another layout I made using the gorgeous Summertime collection. Although it’s a themed collection, it’s also very versatile. And so my today’s page is just generally about my greatest treasure 😉

mdskarb

I don’t usually use singular papers for the background, but I just couldn’t give up on a single paper from this collection to cover it even partially 😉 And besides, I think the Having fun paper makes a great background for a boy layout on its own. I chose the blue and sand colours for my palette. I cut some papers to make small tags to place under the photos of my boys:

I added strips of washi tape and a decorative lace flourishes for a little shine 😉

For the title I used a layered chipboard word, which is Polish for “My treasure” – as my sons are my most precious treasures in life…

Finally I added a small flower cluster and a metal anegl wings charm to finish my page:

And here’s what I used:

Other: flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; washi tape: Dekoracyjna Taśma; chipboard: Scrapiniec; lace border: Prima; metal charm: my stash.

See you soon!

Hi everyone. Today I have a new Maja Design creation for you.
In the weekend I was cleaning up the cupboards and found this box, I was the perfect size to alter.
I chose the Summertime (By The Sea) papers to turn this old box into a new storage container for my Sea Shells
I started by covering the box this white gesso to cover up the original colour.

Next I used the Gives Me Joy paper to cover the outside of the box, and Glittering Waves paper to cover the sides.

I cut two tags from the By The Sea Die Cuts paper to embellish the top. Then I added some metal pieces, flowers, ribbon, shells and liquid pearls to decorate my box.

I used the Gives Me Joy paper to cover the inside of the box, and the Glittering Waves paper on the inside of the lid. I then cut out the adorable image of a boy and girl at the beach from the Die Cuts paper to place inside.

Hello everyone 🙂

Today it is finally time to share my first project created with the new collection to Maja Design, Summertime <3

This is a delightful series of sheets that remind us of the summer. It brings up memories and makes us think about what we will do this summer. I have used the new sheets to decorate a small bottle with Champagne, placed it in a wheel barrow and the only thing I can think of is summer evenings with good friends, wine and strawberries <3

I have for a long time have the wheel barrow from Wycinanka, until the new sheets came from Maja Design, it have just been waiting for me to get an idea for what I whant to do with it. So I painted it white, before I started with the details.

I have used several sheets from Maja Design, both from the collection that are 12×12 and 6×6.
I have used these blue sheets from the new collection:
Is My Favorite, Gives Me Joy, Glittering Water and By The Sea

The bottle I have decorated with a label with a bike on, just to remind us abute lazy summer days.

On the bottleneck I have attached two buttons with a bow.

All the flowers are put together with an unknown dies and the leaves below is embossed with embossing powders in silver.

Half pearls that I spent inside the flowers and on the buttons I’ve made myself with Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I have also chosen to place a bike on the front of the wheelbarrow, this is also embossed with silver and comes from Wycinanka.

In addition to the buttons on the bottleneck I have also attached a tag, here you can write a summer greeting if you will.
