Good morning, Maja Fans, welcome to our blog 🙂

Today I have a layout to share that I made using the beautiful, pastel collection Summertime:

kora

Summertime was released without Monochrome sheets, of course, therefore I had to sacrifice 😉 the beautiful tiny flowers of the Flowers Everywhere paper to use the delicate pink for the background. Then I layered pieces of various papers to mat the photo. I also used signature strips for that 🙂

I added flowers and embellishments cluster in the lower corner of the layout to balance the layers on the right. I used flowers in matching colours, a resin heart that I mounted on the flowery pattern from the small paper pad, some paper straws and chipboard decor. I also added some sequins for a bit of bling:

The layout is also pleasantly dimentional too 🙂

I really love the way the papers complement the photo with colours and patterns!

And here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: flowers, stickers, acrylic gems: Prima; chipboard: Miszmasz Papierowy; sequins: Multicrafts Imports; paper straws: my stash

See you soon!

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

When the days are still dull and short there’s no better remedy than some colour therapy! 🙂 And so I returned to the bright and cheerful Summertime collection and created two cards. The first one is in red tones:

I layered and distressed some papers. Then I added a couple of paper straws as the background for my embellishments:

mdred1

I added roses that correspond to the ones in the background and a cute heart frame:

mdred2

I completed the design with some glistening gem stones:

And then I thought of fans of blue 😉 And made this card in a similar way:

Again, I layered papers and added some paper straws:

There’s an ornate frame too, inside which I placed a butterfly button:

The flower cluster in matching colours and beautiful lace complete the whole:

Here are the papers I used:

Other: art clay, gold paint: Martha Stewart; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; button: Lemoncraft; molds, paper straws, lace – my stash.

And which one do you like more?

See you soon!

Welcome and a very happy Valentine’s Day to you wherever you live in the world.

May your day be filled with love, flowers and chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate………..!

Tina O with you here today to share my next Maja Design creation. The title for this layout was taken from a beautiful beautiful quote I found in a big box of rub-ons this morning, one I had not heard of before. But it will be one that I use again one day soon. It goes……

“Love wasn’t put in your heart to stay, love isn’t love until it’s given away”

2017-02-14 Valentines Day 039 (796x800)

For my scrapbook layout project here today I kept everything very clean indeed. I did a simple stamped border with embossing powders. Again as always I have added in some fussy cut elements from the Summertime (In the Garden) – Smell the roses patterned paper.

2017-02-14 Valentines Day 047 (800x600)

I had the photo printed of twice in two differing sizes and then layered them one on top of the other. I framed one photo with the Summertime (In the Garden) Die Cut frames. The centre was cut from this and then used behind the back of my chipboard window. So cute!!

Summertime-P1

2017-02-14 Valentines Day 048 (800x600)

I have added in some gorgeous lace that has been cut up and layered sometimes 4 times over itself. Some of the lace was left a little distressed to keep with a shabby feel.

2017-02-14 Valentines Day 051 (600x800)

I have used lots of yummy Dusty Attic chipboards for this project. They were simply covered with Crackle Paste and coloured with China Black H2O’s, and a little distress crackle and some Star Dust Stickles.

2017-02-14 Valentines Day 053 (600x800)

I used a Sizzix Die-Cut for my title “Love”. I layered it up a couple of times and dressed similarly to the other chipboards but I left it a little darker so it could stand out on the page. I also added in some handmade accetates to add to the layout another layer.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you have enjoyed your time here. Stay tuned there will be more again tomorrow. Until then happy scrapping.Tina-sign

Thank You Dear Mother

Goodmorning Maja fans,

Oh how I love my beautiful Maja Design papers…..today I’d like to show you a little card with handmade flowers and a lot of bling which is totally not me but I loved making this card. This card is made out of four different collections but my base was the pretty “Summertime” collection. This is a card I made for my mother for the upcoming mothers day hihihi yes I am pretty early this time….

It’s a easel card made out of cream card stock and the flowers are made out of dies and I finished them off with some glass glitter and some mica powder to give it more shine. Also I added some bling swirls, some shine spray & cream prills.

Layout

Hello my friends and happy Sunday to all!!!

Mary here with you today sharing my latest layout using papers from the beautiful ”Summertime” collection.

This time I made a soft romantic page using tones of blue to match my beautiful photo, which as always found on Pinterest.  And, before I continue I want to give all the proper credits to the photographer.

Close up 1

For my background, I used the ”Glittering Water” paper and I made some layers behind my photo with the ”Gives my Joy” paper.

Close Up 2

I primed the background with clear gesso and when it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil. Then, I used Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays ”Baby Blue Eyes Aqua”, ”Delphinium Turquoise” and ”Danny Zuko’s Denim” to give some color.

Close Up 3

I heat embossed the title and the chipboard from the ”Element Set 1” with two embossing powders, first with ”Bavarian Blue” and then with ”Madonna Robe Blue Gold”. The ”Corner Geneive” chipboard was also embossed with ”Madonna Robe Blue Gold”. The chipboards I used are 2crafty and the flowers are Prima Marketing. The beautiful flair is ”Cuts2luv”.

Close Up 4

To finish, I added some art stones and made some splatters with 13arts white gesso.

Papers used:

Summertime-P

That’s all for today, my friends!

Thank you for stopping by!
