Hi Everyone,

Its Keren Here with a new layout.

I’ve always loved the brick pattern from the Vintage Summer Basics and so I knew I had to incorporate it into a layout during my DT term.

Below is a photo of my husband and daughter and i thought it was so cute.

I framed the photo by die cutting with a frame out of the background paper. The brick paper hid the area where I had cut from.

I'm Keren Tamir a self taught scrapbooker, mixed media artist and designer. Since I was a child, I always loved art. I used to doodle on my notebooks and on anything I could get my hands on. Fourteen years ago I discovered scrapbooking and fell in love with it. One of the main reasons I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children. Scrapbooking opened a creative door to something that I had longtime forgotten I'd loved. It gave me peace of heart and mind. visit my blog for more inspiration: https://kerentamir.blogspot.ca

Hello dear friends! Evgenia Petzer with you. Today I am showing you the mini album, I have actually put it inside of this box and we gave it as a present to my son’s teacher. As she became a grandmother not so long ago.  I think she was really nicely surprised and this makes me happy, thats what our hobby is about as well, right?

Ok this is a mini album on tags, that I made using Tim Holtz dies and always use my leftovers from other projects, so you will see a mixture of some collections here, but they most are of pink shades:)

the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, lots of ribbons, pearls and chipboard (Russian brand).

Inside the baby album I have put the images from the Sofiero collection for now, later they will be replaced by th photos of the baby girl.razv1 razv2 razv3 razv4

here is the side view of my album:)side_view_albumI have used bits and pieces of left overs, but mostly its these 2 collections

and these 2 separate sheets that I highly recommend, the balloons are one of my fav for fussy cutting and the Sofiero images are just perfect for so many occasions.

Have a great weekend, ladies!

Hugs,

Goodmorning lovelies,

Today I am up on this lovely blog using my precious Maja Design papers. In my last post I added some questions and I will give you those answers in my August 11th post, the same as I give you my tutorial that day. Sorry for that but I had to deal with some serious personal issues so I have not been scrapbooking as much as I wanted to. Today we will be leaving for our well deserved vacation trip for the next seven day we will be enjoying each others company at a camping ground in the south of our little country we are very excited as you can imagine…, for this post I made a 8×8 layout using only Maja Design papers, dies and a flair.

20170707_14385912

That sweet picture I got from pinterest oh boy how I love that site…here I used several Maja Design collection such as Vintage Autumn Basics, Vintage Baby, I Wish and Vintage Summer Basics. The centers of my big flowers are made with foamballs that I glued on and dipped in mini prills such a lovely effect that has.

On the background I added some spray’s, stamp and paste. But I also stamped the word sweet on the picture I really do love Gabi her word stamps. What I do when making a layout with just paper and dies….firstly I will cut all the dies that I want to use in different colors then I will make the flowers and their centers and put those together.

Then I it is really easy to make it into one whole piece that you like. At the moment I am totally hooked on the amazing flairs by Cuts2luv that I will use it on almost every single project I make. I wetted my papers to disstress is a little more at the edges I also inked the edges first before I did that.

Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to present a album cover. It is a first album for a little boy ! Perfect to capture the memories, moments … write down some sentences and describe funny situations captured in the pictures.  It look like I’am guite sentimental recently time 🙂 Let’s take a look, please :

Vintage Baby

To create this album I used a ready base from Eco-Scrapbooking – a polish brand producing bases for cards, album etc. Inside pages are made from blue envelopes – they match perfectly with Maja Design papers! This time I used collections of Vintage Baby – I found there perfect papers for a boy, which I combined with the newest Monochromes collection.

Vintage BabyVintage BabyThe main element on the cover it’s die cut  from this collection. It is so useful when in a collection you have also some die cuts. It makes our work much easier and faster ! The next element it is a big chipboard frame from Scrapiniec. Some Petaloo flowers and ordinary roses, leafs and splashing. It is not too complicate but really impressive.

Hi dear Maja fans! It is Camilla again, showing you a card I have made with the lovely papers from the Denim & Friends collection. Wow, I just love the new papers. I made this card to my aunt and uncle who both celebrate their 60 years birthday this Summer.

Denim-P

The card was inspired by a card made by the talented Cathrine Sandvik in the latest issue of Ett Trykk. Since there was no tutorial, I made it on my own. It is kind of making a frame card, only to put the frame inside the folder.

I have coloured the image from Stempelglede with Distress Ink, re-inkers. The pink is Victorian Velet, and the blue is Weathered Wood. I have also added some liquid pearls on to it.

Under you have a view of how it looks inside with the frame.

Blue and beige is some of my favourite colours to work with, and I think this collection is one of my favourite from Maja Design!

I hope you are having a wonderful Summer, with warm summer nights 🙂

Lots of love and hugs from

Camilla
