Hello Maja friends!

Today a new inspiration for you, I hope it will helps against heat, exhaustion and cloudy thoughts.

I created a sea inspired mixed media layout and chose some paper sheets from the  ‘Life by the Sea’ collection.

Hello Maja fans!

It’s Mary here today and I would like to share with you a layout for my August inspiration.

As you may already know, I love searching on Pinterest to find photos to scrap and this time I came across with that photo. And, the beautiful papers from the ”Vintage Romance” collection was just perfect for it. But, before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

For my background I used the back side of the ”Ephemera Cards” paper and I made one layer on it with the ”Marriage Proposal” paper. To start, I gave my background a coat of clear gesso. When it was dried, I added some texture with modeling paste and a stencil.

I used some Lindy’s Gang sprays to color my page and made some stamping here and there.

I choose some Dusty Attic chipboards and I used some Lindy’s embossing powders to heat emboss them.

When everything was glued down, I added some art stones and glitter and I made the final touch with some splatters with white gesso.

Hello sweet Maja Fans,

Lenet here , it’s my turn to bring you some inspiration .

I bring you this layout with a picture of my son when he was 4 years old inspired by the moodboard of this month.

As you might know or maybe not the challenge is for 2 months this time so still loads of time to enter.

He made his first drawing  that of a car on our garden table with chalks that are meant to use on the sidewalk or floor outside .

Of course I was not really happy with him drawing on my table but he was so proud of it ,an me my self as well .

for this layout I used some left overs from the vintage baby collection.

The one with the blue stars that I used as a background was just a little to small to cover the cardstock I used as base  , so I torn it in two and connected it again with some sewing.

I added some buttons to the twine for a playful effect.

I hope you like my layout.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

For this post I have a layout to share with a cutest little boy photo as a welcome gift:

For the colour palette I used the photo colours and added hues of blue. Therefore I chose my two favourite collections that fitted perfectly: Vintage Baby (of course) and Denim&Friends (it’s a boy, right?). I wanted the photo to remain the focal point and added only a few embellishments, including a die-cut and paper-pieced balloon:

To accent the lightness and delicacy of the photo I added cheesecloth, pom-poms and buttons:

I really like the way it turned out, sweet and light as is the precious new baby boy 🙂
