Hello Maja Friends. Have you seen the new Christmas collection – Christmas Season? I think it is a good occasion to start Christmas preparations isn’t it?

I have already made a bunch of cards with it.

Well, no doubt I started making my cards with focusing on the beautiful ladies from this collection – really unusual for the Christmas theme and so feminine .

The florals – roses are also something nontraditional but look how it makes the cards to look wintery and festive at the same time

Except for the fussy cutting the roses and the Lady – this time I focused on creating the different background for my cards using almost the same papers I used fr the cards set as well as mixing the leftovers and negatives of the die cuts.

It was quite easy to do and you can check my video tutorial on how I made it here

http://https://youtu.be/vJuiEAmILCs

I used the papers from 12×12 and 6×6 paper pad, as well as added the Monochromes – Shades of Christmas, that match the patterned papers perfectly.

The images I used mostly from the smaller size of the paper, and for the fussy cutting I used the 12×12 paper sheets.

Recently I’ve started to use only paper embellishments for my cards  and it’s quite easy to make with Maja papers – all you need are the scissors and /or die cutting machine

I also made “non-floral Christmas cards” too

I always liked to used blue and white for my Christmas cards and I admit that traditional colors such as green, red are not boring for sure, but I like the cards to be of all colors . So what I love about Maja papers and their collections, especially for Christmas, is that everyone can find something of their own taste.

I’ve only added there a few cut out roses – but it still looks like for Christmas Season

Products used:

Christmas Season – 6×6 paper pad, Spellbinders dies, Fantasy Dies

Merry Christmas card.

Hello Sweet Maja Fans

It’s my turn again to give you a little inspiration. Today I bring you this Christmas card.

As christmas is getting closer I went to my christmascard stash and noticed I ned to make some more cards if I want to sent my loved ones a hand made card.

So this is one less to make.

For this card I used  papers from the Joyous Winterdays,  a beautiful collection in red, green and bleu….love it , the Monochromes -shades of winterdays.

for the centerpeice of the card I made a rosette using the large Tim Holtz rosette die,  the number 25 and rudolf ( who I gave a red nose with a little pearl )are made with movers and shakers dies from Tim Holtz as well.

The ribbons and the Merry Christmas are made with the cut off strips of the 12″x12″ papers.

I hope you enjoy this card I made for you.

Happy crafting  and don’t forget to check in tomorrow for new ispiration brought to you by one of the other Maja Girls.

Hello Sweet Maja fans.

When summer is at it’s end I always get Christmas jitters.

Although every season and holiday has it’s own charm, I really love Christmas.

Me and my kids love to snuggle up with a warm blanket on the couch, and watch every Christmas-movie we can find.

With Christmas jitters comes Christmas crafting.  So today I bring you this Christmas tag made with leftovers from the Vintage Frost Basic Collection.

I hate throwing away designpapers I love , so i safe them for smaller projects like this.

For the bottom of the base tag I used the  Martha Stewart  doily punch. one of my all time favorite edgepunches.

On top of that I laid a die cut made with Romantic Rectangles nestabilities  by Spellbinders.

Than I started stacking papers till I like it and stick them together with foamtape.

I always keep some space between the edges of my papers so I can tuck some embellishments or or small papers between the layers.

To finish it an eyelet in the top with a piece o flace thru it so it can hang .

This label will sure be a part of my Christmas decorations. I love how it turned out.

The Snow flake die I used is from the winter trails collection by  Studio Light.

Thank you very much for visiting make sure you come back for more wonderful projects made by the other Maja girls to inspire you.

Hello again dear Maja fans.

We still have a amazing summer over here in the Netherlands with lots of sun and warm temperatures. They are even talking about a heatwave next week.

So in order to cool down a little , I made this Christmas card , you never start too early making them right? Maybe this year I will be done in time instead of making them at the last minute.

This one I made with some leftovers from projects I made earlier with the Vintage Frost Collection.

To create snow the snow on the edges I used Finnabair art extravagance paper texture paste.

To create dimension on the card I used foamtape to stick the pieces together.

Thank you very much for your visit, I hope I was able to give you some inspiration with this card.
