Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to present a very layered, masculine cards 🙂 When I saw the paper from the “Vintage Autumn Basics”  collection I knew what to create. I love the colours, the style and  all small details to cut out. I just felt in love …

Masculine CardsI started to create the cards by choosing image and chipboards. Maja Design paper has a lot of small elements to cut out and it helps a lot during your creative process. From only one collection you can create many different products. I love to add layers, chipboards and flowers.

Hello our blog fans. Today I would like to present my first inspiration.  I love vintage and shabby chic style. I’m a big fan of layers, laces and chipboards.  Cards are one from my favourite type of projects to create. Here is my today’s inspiration :
Card by Padoriaa

Papers from the collection called “Vintage Romance” fits perfectly to my project.  I pick few papers and started to prepare the composition. Next was to added some flowers, metal embellishments and chipboard. Cut out elements from the paper and use them like the central point of my card.

Flowers together with ribbon and laces. Many tiny elements together.

Vintage stamp with perfect sentence.  Here I used different shades of ink to stamp. It look really nice instead of using a black ink.

My cards are full of  layers and elements but I always try to make them light. It’s not easy, it takes time  but I love the final result.

In the end I applied white gesso and splash it with white and gold paint.

Hi everyone. Sadly this is my last post for Maja Design.
I’m pregnant with baby #2 and my mind and body aren’t cooperating the way that I would like, so I’m taking a break from some of my scrapbooking commitments to try to get a little more rest.
For my last layout I have used the Nyhavn Collection to create a vintage style layout.

I used three papers from the Nyhavn collection to layer together and create my background. These papers were, The Sunny Side, A Dockside in Bloom & Kings Square.

I added white texture paste through a floral and diamond stencils.

I coloured my chipboard with Distress Ink in Hickory Smoke to match the colour of the King’s Square paper. Then I embellished with yellow, peach and grey flowers to compliment the papers.
