A Snowflake is….

Hello, Rachelle here with a couple winter LO’s I did. I love working on Winter LO’s, because of all of the layers of glittery texture…

I used: White Christmas, A real Fellow, Snowy Days, Diecuts & Festive Season-BS, from the its Christmas Time Collection

The Chipboard used is Dusty Attic

Here are some close ups:

I painted the baubles with snowflake paste, sprinkling on glitter while the paste was still wet…

The pine sprigs are Petaloo, I added the snow texture & glass glitter..

I also used some glass beads on the LO. I painted the title with white crackle, then applied the snow texture & glitter on the top..

Shows layers, using cheese cloth, burlap, corrugated paper,Maja paper, & Tim Holtz icicle. I applied the snow texture to the bottom edges…

I hand cut the inside edges of White Christmas, then, distressed the edges & stitched it…

The flower is Petaloo, I added the snow texture & glitter…

I repeated the branches, using DA chipboard branches…

Today I’m here with a little extra Christmas inspiration to you <3

About two weeks ago I made a box with 8 sides. I made the box my self using thick cardbord also known as chipboards 12×12. When I made this box I would give it a little extra Christmas spirit <3

On the side of the box, I used a Martha Stewart Punch called Eyelet Lace, this is a new personal favorite of mine. The snowflakes are a dies set from Tim Holtz called Mini Snowflake. The set is two snowflakes, and on my box I have placed some of them on top each other. I also decorated these with snow from a box and plastic snow.

The lid of the box is also cut out from chipboards and both sides have patterned paper, even at the edges. The top lid I’ve covered with alot of snow from a box and snow made from plastic. I have made my self a little Christmas story on the top. Christmas Carols in the Snow <3

On the lid I’ve used several dies from Tim Holtz. The Christmas tree in the background is put together with a dies named Evergreen <3 The Deer is from a set with two, called Reindeer Fligthe and the pair where the lady sings and the man plays, named Victorian Carolers. The other details are mushrooms, packages with some bullfinks. The bullfinks is a dies from kaBoks.

The Christmas tree is made from 16 trees that two and two are glued together. This is to get the patterned paper on both sides. In the tree you can see that I have used several Bullfinch.

Below the tree I have 3 red mushrooms and on the other side you’ll find a deer.

The packages I’ve put together myself without a tutorial. Also these are covered with snow and two of them I have placed some birds on.

When you remove the lid, you will see that I have covered the inside with patterned paper and pearl string.

The idea for the project I got when I saw the dies set with the lady and the gentleman from Tim Holtz. I just knew I had to make one project with this and give them the right Christmas atmosphere they deserve <3

Hello Maja friends! It’s Andrea coming to you one last time to bring you some delightful Maja Design goodness! This will be my last post as a design team member…I look back at my time here very fondly…Marie is wonderfully creative and generous, Jenny is super supportive and always helpful and the rest of the team, well, they’re just fabulous and wonderfully talented! Larissa here sharing a new Maja Design project with you guys!

As December is just around the corner and with a lot of great winter and Christmas lines by Maja Design I just thought it would be a great idea to start preparing my “December Daily” album.

For today´s project I have used “It´s Christmas time” line:

This collection is all about preparations, decorations and expectations – so, it was perfect for this project!

I´ve started with my album cover…

This is a canvas album filled with plastic pockets that I´ll use to insert my December daily pages.

I have decorated it using some blings, trims, flowers and by adding a bit of texture…

Hello Maja Design fans and friends!

Larissa here sharing a new layout with you.

This time I´ve chosen to create something using It´s Christmas time line by Maja Design.

This collection is so versatile and has such beautiful colors and paterns that it can be used for a non Christmas themed layout.

And that´s exactly what I have done! Let me show you…

Good Memories

To create this page layout I have added a lew layers of gorgeous Maja Design papers and have included a few cutouts – all taken from It´s Christmas time line.

I have also included new Prima embellishments (notepads, flowers, wood icons and blings) for a fresh new look.

I hope you´ve enjoyed this layout!
