Happy New Year Maya friends! It’s me Heidi blogging my first post today. I’m so excited to be asked to join this amazing designteam with so many talented girls. I’m looking so much forward to work with the Maya papers, and I have so many amazing projects to share with you in 2015.
Today I have made a card for a boy using papers from both the Nyhavn and Vintage Frost Basic collections. I love the Vintage- and Shabby Chic style, and both my paper projects and my home decor are influenced by that.
To make this card I have used both new and old embellishments, and I have put it together layer by layer. I have sewn with my sewing machine around the edges of the papers, distressed them and I have also add some white Gesso.
Supplies:
Maya Design: Nyhavn “King’s Square” and Vintage Frost Basic “16th of December”
craft cardstock, tag, corrugated cardboard, vintage photo, old postcard, old Norwegian rationing card from 1918, paper star, cheese cloth, twine, ribbon and charm.
