Happy Halloween, everyone! I planned to create a spooky card to share, but at the last minute, changed my mind and created a holiday card with some of the beautiful holiday Maja paper. I decided to try my hand at the 6×6 It’s Christmas Time paper pad. Partly because it is one of the paper packs I have kept in my crafty kit – almost every other Maja paper has been packed up in preparation for our big move. And partly because I love that I have all the patterns and colors I need at my fingertips, in this tiny little compact bundle. I don’t know why I don’t create with 6×6 papers more often!
It was really so much fun to work with, and I loved how little waste is created from this size of paper.
Also, the little Santa Claus image was just the size I needed for this card. Had I used the 12×12 format, the image would have been much too large.
I really didn’t do much to add to the beautiful papers. I only added some snowflakes, a few metallic pearls, a rub-on sentiment, and some twine and a button.
It is so easy to put together a card, when the papers are this beautiful.
Supplies Used: Maja Design Paper (6×6 It’s Christmas Time paper pad), My Favorite Things snowflake die, twine, metallic pearls, button and rub-on from my stash.
My momma and I are enjoying some girl time together, and hot apple cider calls my name, so I best be going.
I hope you’re all enjoying this lovely day!
