Hello, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂
Time is flying fast, but I thought that before I get down to making Christmas cards with I Wish (as I think October is just too early 😉 ) I should get back to some older collections and create a nice layout 🙂 And so I picked the beautiful Vintage Romance and made a page about my sweet elder son (as last time I shared a layout with my sweet younger son and I have to keep the even record, you know):
I opted for one of my favourite off-white-blue-brown colour combos, and layered selected papers:
…added some embellishments, including flowers and chipboard pieces:
…as well as metal elements – I just love using real watch parts! I also used pieces of signature strips as jounraling, choosing expressions of love:
The title of the layout is composed of die-cut words. I also added some stamping here and there:
Flowers and distressed edges of particular layers gave this nice dimension 🙂
I really love working with this beautiful collection! Even though it’s been design to fit love, romance and wedding themes, it’s so easy to adapt it for other purposes too! That is common to all Maja collections and that’s why I love them so much 🙂
And here’s what I used for my layout:
Other: Chipboard: SnipArt; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; stamps: Tim Holtz; metal charms, watch face: Retro Kraft Shop, dies: Kesi’Art, MFT.
See you later!

WOUW what a wonderful lay out here of your handsome son. I can only agree to every word you said about these papers, they really are sooo versatile and can be used for just any project in different ways, and is also why it´s my preferred papers to use for almost any project, I ever make. I love the soft and yet manly look, you´ve managed to create in this LO here, it´s really awesome and show him of sooo well. Really gorgeous work hun, I LOVE it too, thanks sooo much for sharing it with us here.
