Hi there, Maja Design Fans 🙂
Being a mom of two growing boys, I do miss delicate pinky flowery girly creations from time to time. Even though I almost always include flowers or lace in my boy pages, it’s not the same 😉 And so I love taking sweet girly orders like this small notepad for a little birthday girl:
She likes purples, so I chose purple designs from the Ska Vi Ta En Fika? collection and added some cute embellies to make it really sweet:
I coloured the sitting Tilda stamp with Distress inks:
I also decorated the inner cover with a little chipboard heart and decorating the frame of the stamp with glitter for some glam effect:
My second project for today is for a slightly older girl 😉 The school year is coming to an end and so I make many thank you cards for teachers, like this very feminine pink card for a dance teacher:
I chose the delicate colours of the Coffee in the Arbour collection for this one and used a filigree die-cut background for the rosy panel with a die-cut ballet dancer silhouette:
I tied some chiffon ribbon to resemble delicate dancers’ dresses and added little roses, pearls and a small dress and pointe shoes charm to complete the card:
I couldn’t resist a little dimension between layers 😉
Maja Design papers: Other: dies: Spellbinders, Nellie’s, Marianne Design; stamps: Magnolia, Basic Grey; punch: Martha Stewart; stickers: Authentique; frame: ScrapBerry’s; charms, flowers – my stash.
Have a nice day and see you later!
