Happy Monday!! Marilyn’s here with you today to share this mini album with a decorated wood box that I made for a special friend. First, I made the mini album cover with cardboard, it is 5′ x 3 1/2″ and I covered with the Rose Garden paper from The Coffee in the Arbour collection. I used Vintage Spring Basics, Vintage Autumn Basics and Coffee in the Arbour collections in my project and I decorated it with laces and flowers from Tresor de Luxe.
I painted the jute with gesso and made a bow. I added a little frame, pearls and different laces.
When you open the mini album you see in the first page that I cut “Days to Remember” from the paper with the same name and in the back cover I used the “3rd of May” paper, a stencil, a heart lace and molding paste.
I covered out and inside of the box with 2nd of May paper. I used both sides of the paper, the box’s outside is with flowers and inside is with the stripes.
The mini album has ten pages that I worked with different papers, I don’t show you all the pages because I don’t have permission to show my friend’s photos. It is a surprise gift.
This is how looks the box…very shabby chic and inside is the mini album.
Supplies: Vintage Spring Basics: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th of May papers and Days to Remember paper. Vintage Autumn Basics: No.XVI, Coffee in the Arbour: Rose Garden. Laces and flowers – Tresor de Luxe, Prima-stencil, Shimmerz Paints, Gesso.
