Hello Maja Fans!
Is today the first day of autumn or what?! Where has the summer gone? Today in Poland it’s really rainy and gloomy (as has been through the last couple of days) – quite depressing, actually. And that’s why I decided to make some spirit-lifting cards to share with you today 🙂 Of course, I used the Vintage Autumn Basics papers 🙂
The first one is a romantic, feminine rose-filled card:
I layered some purple and brown papers, added guipure lace and tags, stamping the beautiful retro stamp with the expression I’m sure you all know 🙂
As the finishing touch, I accented the roses (both dimensional and printed ones) with a litle glitter:
My second card is a more masculine one, using blue and beige tones:
As you can see, I used the very same stamp, only I didn’t ink the crown – instead I stamped a moustache image with a different stamp and then mounted it onto some 3D foam for more interest:
The simple design is completed with cut-out balloons and clock faces and a star-shaped metal charm:
And finally the last card features a large die-cut “smile” word:
I layered delicate purple and pink papers and some die-cut doilies:
…and added some guipure lace, flowers and a chipboard swirl:
Vintage Autumn Basics: Heritage, No. XVII, No. IV, No. III, No. XXI, No. XII, No. XIV, No. XVI. Other: dies: Cheery Lynn Designs, Keshi’art, stamps: Personal Impressions, Dovecraft. Flowers: Prima. Guipure, sting, charm: from my stash.
And what do you say about this optimistic set? 🙂 Happy autumn, everyone!
