Hello Maja friends! It’s Andrea visiting with you today…bringing up a delightful summer card featuring Maja Design’s Vintage Summer Basics collection. I have to say that I will be very sad when summer passes…it is my favorite time of year to be outside, walk among the flowers my husband and I planted in the spring and just generally not be cold! We planted some Maiden grass in our back yard and about this time of year it gets the most spectacular plumes on it. The bad side of that means that when I see them, summer is coming to an end. And then school starts. Ahh, let’s not get ourselves depressed here! Let’s cheer up with a celebration card: The edges are distressed and inked, the center panel is sewed and the floral cluster consists of a paper flower, fabric leaves, wooden feathers, ceramic stamens and some distressed gauze. Quite a lot of textiles in one little arrangement! I also added some sequins in the mix for a touch of sparkle.
Thanks for tuning in with me today…enjoy your day…and the rest of the summer, you Northern Hemisphere peeps!
