Hello Sweeties,
Today I’m on Maja Design blog with another family photo. It’s my great-grand-mother Elisa.
I began to alter the background with a thin and uneven layer Gesso. Then with a stencil, I added a design with a some white crackle paste that I let dry all night.
The day after, I added a light and uneven touch of color to the background with a chalk ink as I want to give a vintage look to my layout. Some random stamping and a few splatters were enough to finish the background.
Before working on the chipboards, I painted them with Gesso. I added some crackle paste on the flowers to give them some texture. I painted the grass with a Silks and the flowers with two shades of Twinklings H2O.
I colored the leaves, die-cut in a watercolor paper, with a Silks and two tones of Chalk ink in order to obtain some texture too.
